OMG First things first, that car is absolutely beautiful even before the wash and then after it's amazing !!!! I'd like to point something out, Vermijl washes the dirtiest car in the world and doesn't get a speck of water or dirt on himself. If he walked on water or parted the red sea I wouldn't be more surprised if I woke up with my head sown to the carpet tomorrow morning. LOL. One of my favourite jobs as a Boy Scout during Job Week (Bob a Job) was car washing, even at such a young age I found it so satisfying, I still enjoy washing mine and my wife’s car now. I just love the Stacked front headlights. My first car senior year high school 74 I bought a 62 300SE for $900. Had to borrow $700 from my dad. It ran but needed work. Replace both rear airbags at $150 each back then. It was a fun car. Owned it for 30 years. Regret selling.

That car is in great shape for no wash in 10 years. We just did the same to a 1957 Oldsmobile Ninety-eight that we inherited. All the chrome is rusted. It’s been garaged kept so the paint for the most part looks great.

it was a car so pretty and elegant then. very hard to ignore in its time until you spot rust through areas in its panels after a couple of years ownership. this was common to other cars of other makes as well. there was a Ziebart and other brands rustproofing service in almost each city blocks.
