On the windows where you’ve used the compound as an enhancement cleaner. After pressure washing I’d just go over once more with an acidic cleaner and wash mitt to remove any final contaminants which have been pushed into the glass layer. Polish always pushes it into the material

Love this one, into small details. One remark about TarX, on my car (even washed away shortly after) it has affected the plastic of the license plates (the bottom glossy part). If I remember it is recommended to avoid the glossy plastics, perhaps other surfaces too (e.g. headlights).

Pretty much yeah. Just gotta top the ceramic coat every few years depending on choice. And then again w the PPF once it’s old, but that takes years and years. Best to do when new so that the prep work is even less

An alkaline pre-wash followed by an acidic wash (Descale) is a great way to prep a vehicle and strip it of any protection. It’s a great shampoo to prep a vehicle for polishing and/or coating. This one also had some hard water spots, so it just was the perfect choice.

I own three Teslas. No, you don't have to put it in "car wash mode" to wash the car by hand. I do recommend "car wash mode" for those who don't care about their paint and run them through car washes (i.e. swirl-o-matic). It helps in that case to turn off parking sensors, auto wipers, lock the charge port door, etc. I personally don't put mine in car wash mode and find it annoying when doing a hand wash.
