I love how in the UK a lot has changed with Air rifle but really a lot has stayed the same . Low powered break barrel awesome shooting skills and enthusiasm . I recently purchased a UK spec .177 PCP and have enjoyed it more than my 30,40 and 60 FP monsters . Been using Springs again. As I kid I remember reading a article in Air Gun world a test on a HW35,FWB127 and a BSF 55 and I think they referred to them as magnum powered. How I longed for those rifles as a kid. Best memories

Again Si, great shot placement as always. As a "Yank", I am glad to see you, as a "Brit", shoot a 25 caliber air rifle. I'm sorry you cannot shoot, as we do in the States, with much higher powered 25 cal. air rifles, as a norm. I actually shoot the Benjamin Marauder, but have modified it quite a bit. I have affixed an FX Smooth Bore Barrel, 25 cal., and an Alturas regulator. I have it set it to 850 fps muzzle velocity. That is about 42 ft/lbs energy at the muzzle. You can calculate that it hits with 20 ft/lbs energy at 100 yards, and VERY accurately with the proper pellet for the barrel. The one thing that I must appreciate and acknowledge from the UK and Europe, is your quality of build and accuracy of your air rifles. Hat's off to all of the UK, cheers and a most excellent job, my "cousins from across the pond". If you have a chance to shoot a modified Benjamin Marauder, do it, you'll see a marked difference in accuracy from the boxed rifle, and a more flat trajectory.

Very interesting. This would also be legal (without moderator) for the Canadian non FAC users as it is below 500 FPS. The .25 pellets hit like Thor's Hammer even at such a "low" velocity, I was frankly surprised at what it did to the rabbit you walked up to.

I took my old BSA Super Star. 25 in for a tune this week, and SFS are doing another batch of this gun this year. so deposit paid just got to wait now and decide what scope to treat it to . It's going to be a bit of a wait but I think it will be worth it .

I fired my 40 odd year old .22 Webley Vulcan using RWS Diablo Wadcutters at about 10 yards. The pellet went through the 1/4" wood paneled garden shed door & exited cleanly through the wood back wall. OK, it's an old shed & the wood is somewhat dried out & seen better days!! Any idea of the ft/lb ??

Another great special of SfS. Wish we had these "hardcore" tuners over here. I only know one in NL. But there is not as much demand for that quality tuned springers here. I guess because: we cant hunt here with airguns. Plus we have no power restrictions. So its all pcp here. And I,for one, Really like the no nonsense of using a springer. Esp. Weihrauch.

Element Customs if shooting rats in the dark with no range finding equipment it's very hard to judge the range to the rats looking through a screen. If it was day / light there would be no problems. If we used our NS laser there would be also no issues. We tell you the truth and give pros and cons. Looking at the review i think it shows its good in the field.
