Un-Trucking Believable! If I were an Afghani with Taliban leanings and I heard Si Pittaway and his pellet gun were coming to Kandahar for an Xmas holiday, I would run for Pakistan as fast as my little legs could carry me over the mountains. Yes the rifle has a lot to do with accuracy and consistency, but the shooter is always the person in control. I currently have an S200 and have just sold my Vmach TX200, either of these rifles would match what you have shown there on a calm day. Now it does help that Weihrauch and Air Arms are some of the most accurate spring piston rifles you can buy, but evidently you are a good shooter and this is what matters most. Good job and nice rifle.

I think Tony Wall fixes something at the back of the rifles action which drops the recoil to a very low state. He also tunes the action and fits his own custom parts and spring. i also think the trigger is tuned too. Im sure there is a lot more involved but I just shoot them mate.

Good video, aye the hw97 is a very accurate air rifle but it's so heavy to carry about if out doing vermin control. I part exchanged mine and just bought a Brocock Contour super six after watching a few videos on here yours being one of them and i really like it. I also have a HW80 in .177 and although it is a heavy air rifle as well it will be with me till the end. Keep making the videos as they are some of the best on here. Thanks.

Si awesome shooting I own a hw97kt and a hw98 the accuracy you are getting out to 55 yards the guns have to be tuned or can you get this accuracy once broken in rite out the box because the hw98 is stated to have almost no recoil but my hw97kt has that twang because it is not broken in and its a synthetic stock.. I am hoping once broken in it goes away you vermin guys are a awesome force to be reckoned with who ever doubted you is crazy and I think it is cool you had the balls or bolacks as you guys say in england pardon the spelling to prove it keep up the good work you guys are a inspiration.

Amazing shooting si have decided my old 77 is going for a stage 2 tune at sfs now is one of the original venom tuned ones but was done long ago look forward to seeing what it's capable of once given a decent tune again currently running about half inch groups at 25 meters with Powa pellets will get a sample pack of many different pellets when it's back find out the very best one for it :) thanks for the great vids and Again that's some impressive shooting. What rangefinder do you use?

Amazing shooting Si, the recoil looks identical to my Dave Hall HW77K which just goes to show how good these two tuners really are. Will have to try the H&N pellets, I've got a tin knocking about. Si/Davy I'm buying a 97kt which I plan to have stage2 tuned by SFS I know you both have the rifle in. 22 but I'm just wondering what you would recommend for a beginner, should I get the rifle in .177 or .22 for longer range quarry? Would the .177 be effective at ranges of 40-50yards? I will be doing plenty of target practice before moving on to live quarry Thanks in advance
@nathanbrown19168 жыл бұрын
hi Kris Rose I know im not si or davy lol but I just thought that I should tell you what I think what cal you should use for hunting. I personally would use the .22 cal version just because it has more knockdown power and the wind can effect the pellet less than the .177 but don't be put of from the .22 at further ranges just spend time with it and you will be fine.

Nice video. I want to ask a few questions. When shooting at 50 meters what position did you use? On a bag in a sitting position as at 25 meters? What distance is zeroing (25, or 30 meters)? How many centimeters in a decrease interference from zero? What is the muzzle velocity in this caliber? Thank you for this video. Best regards from Slovakia.

Hi Si, great shooting as always bud. just 1 question mate. what's the difference in a stage 1 and 2 tune? i've recently bought an HW97kt from SFS. Spoke to Tony who talked me through the tuning process. I decided on a stage 1 tune. Absolutely awesome, i would think a stage 1 is good enough for the average shooter/ hunter, would you agree?.

Just a quick question (I'm sure you have probably answered before). When you do the out door test in the car park, is it not breaking the Public Places and Highways UK law ? I'm not trying to kibosh your shooting or stop you from producing some cracking vids, I just wanted to know the workaround if there is one.
@porkycrook12 жыл бұрын
Cracking shooting mate, no more then me along with a lot of others have come to expect from "THE MASTER". You have now managed to cut playing cards and splitting pellets on a knife blade. Whats next? How about having a compotition for subscribers to suggest some trickshot that you can't do, out to a maximum of say 40 yards, You to put up a prize for anybody that can think of a trick that you cant do. Me first me first me first. Shoot through a "polo mint hole" at 25mtrs or slalom? Good Luck

Quality shooting sir! Love these videos! What rifle could you recommend for someone on a budget of £250? (Pregnant wife won't give me any more) lol. I've been looking at the new hammerli 550. Normally I'd say don't shoot at a target near aerial cables (mounted on the wall) but with that sort of accuracy and with your skill, it's really not a problem! I was only thinking about buying a HW97k before, now I'm positive. Can I ask what scope you're using here?
