Remember that mission from Vermintide 1 Gears of war? That super long stupidass mission through the forest where you destroy the wheel-apparatus and then signal a bell for olesya to come on boat to you? I had a contract that was extremely difficult, like propably the do not take damage one, on nightmare diff WITH BOTS. I made it through the WHOLE LEVEL without losing the contract to damage. I held out in that bunker at the end. The boat approaches and the invasions were all repelled. I WALK UP TO THE LITTLE DOCKING PLATFORM. OUT OF NOWHERE A GUTTER RUNNER HITS ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DOCK. KNOCKS BACK ALL THREE BOTS INTO THE WATER, AND INSTANTLY KO'D MY TEAM. MAKING ME LOSE ALL MY PROGRESS -___-

I have about 300 hours in this game, and played in the beta. The only serious bug I ever came across was the bile troll becoming invincible. I’ve also only disconnected and lost loot at the end like once.

Vermintide 2 is probably the buggiest multiplayer game I've ever played. In just 2 days I've seen chaos abomination boss completely disappear and go invisible, bile troll getting stuck on the ladder, enemies almost completely stopping spawning when you jump on a bench as a whole team during a defense phase, enemies spawning right out of thin air right in front of you, and some other stuff I can't even remember

imo most bugs aren't consistent enough or gamebreaking enough to turn a person away if they're genuinely interested in the game. the solid core gameplay and mechanics will still carry it through just fine I think

I rarely see most of these bugs in game so I wouldn't let that hold you back if you're interested in purchasing. The dev team is putting a lot of work into fixing all of the major issues so if you're really worried maybe hold off until the big patch they planning to release on may 3.
