Warhammer initially based a lot of its stuff on D&D. In think this includes trolls. So generally you’ll want fire to deal with trolls because D&D / Warhammer style trolls regenerate and the fire stops that.

I was so excited when I first heard about Vermintide. A game where I can play as a skaven doing coll skaveny things. I could barely hand my money over fast enougth. Then I found out it was a game where you play as a lame not-skaven killing skaven. My dissapointment was great.

Took me a while to realize they were playing on Veteran difficulty around level 5 - I usually don't aim for that until I get the character to 10, just to minimize frustration and have all character options available. It'd be nice to see them turn this into a regular thing, too.
