I like it though, the whole trope of elves as “hot humans but with pointy ears” is really boring. Elves, to me, are best when they look almost alien. The Elves of Lorwyn in MtG are a great example of this.

interesting little clip. the minimalism (like the lack of background) works well here. Something bothers me about Kerillian's hand waving in front of the camera, might be the rather low polycount. not sure if a higher subdivision level might have helped, but other than that, good work on the atmosphere in this one!

While I did apply 1 level of subdivision/corrective smoothing to the characters here and there, I tried to be conservative with using that due to, well, being a bit impatient. I like to call it "staying true to the original artstyle", buuuut I also didn't want to wait ages for it to render

Where it all began... "Side hobby of mine" Hah, 3 years on and still crafting masterworks out of this wonderful little cast. Man Vermintide is special. I hope Fatshark know just how much people love this band of nutters. They're contentious devs sometimes, but they really did make something wonderful here. Sad that Darktide doesn't feel like it has the same soul as Vermintide does. It's still great, but the Mourningstar and crew are no Ubersreik Five. Love 'yer work Janfon, have since you came around with this. I sincerely hope that whatever you move on to next finds the all success and love you deserve

The Iron Cross is a very popular symbol in the WH universe, no not the one that Emps is from, I mean THIS WH universe. Both use it, but this one specifically as a symbol of some meaning, one I've yet to fully understand. It's seen almost everywhere in Vermintide, from weapons, to charms, to banners, to armor pieces, to much more. It could have the same meaning as its real life counterpart or it could be on the same level as a common stop sign in our world. Kruber, at least this version is in the Knights Armor, and likely would have served a Kingdom, therefore using the Cross as a designation symbol. It's basically his decorative part of his armor. And for the inevitable question: no, the Iron Cross, despite its Germanic Association, is not a symbol of Hate, Fascism, or Nazism. The Iron Cross has been used by people who believe these wretched ideal, but itself was in use far before Mustachio took over and killed those millions. The Iron Cross has been used by Knights, Kingdoms, even Templars for hundreds of years, as symbols of Loyalty, Honor, Rank, and more. Just a bit of a history lesson because why not.
