i just love birkhoff's "She's nikki." She hates people lying to her and he knows very well. More than Mike even! =)

When I saw this scene for the first time I was a little dissapointed by Michael's reaction. But at the same time it makes sense. He knows Nikita better than anyone and he knew that she would wanted to save Ari no matter what, even if it would meant risking her life. Nikita is Michael's everything but Ari on the other way is for him just enemy. So why would he let woman he loves risking her life for a man who tried to killed them, all of them and multiple times.
