Same. It honestly felt like the single player mode was a prologue to the main Mario Party mode. After finishing the story, playing through the boards had a new feeling. I helped set all this up basically. It was a rewarding feeling.

Honestly love how in Story Mode they brought back the mini-stars and also brought the Star Rush theme with it, being the boss fights in it! IT's really cool to see 9/10 + Star Rush coming in! Definitely one of the coolest things in terms of story mode in Mario Party! Really good video Vernias, hope you have a good day/night!!

A tip for anyone doing story mode: Play as Ninji or Pauline, there the "secret" characters so they dont have an apperance on the boards. it wont change much but if you are a completionist i recocmend this!

Acctully, it barely matters, play as 1 of the jamboree buddies, character gets replaced by a copy, you still got 3 more allies for the boss, play as 1 of Bowser’s minions? game is kind enough to just enter in another one of the same species, play as Bowser… acctully good question, idk what the game does then

The story mode is a lot of fun, helping out with tasks to prepare the boards, playing Minigames in relation to the task at hand, and all the lovely decorations that can pretty up the main hub area. Even though I still have yet to explore every inch of this game, I can safely that this a very soild Mario Party game.

My favorite part about the story modes is that if you do parts of it just right (and by just right, I mean avoiding party members entirely) you can fight bosses solo. I did that for Sumo Bro and it was a nice chill puzzle time.

Since the order is random, if you're going last there is a high chance that you just straight up lose before getting to even get a turn. *Yes this happened to me and it was not fun* edit: When I did finally win I went first and just pressed a twice and got it immediately. aka choosing the first key on the first door. High quality gameplay right?
