I’ll get round to it though it’s not for the want of trying. It now has a white tip a bit on high build to an eye and new shrink tube plus spigot fits now. Great session that night and good company. Stick some outside in salt water. Or better still get small hooks made with very fine wire that bend out you can get them. Guess you’ll only catch whiting and dabs there this time off year. Last week week I asked about your preferred reel position, this week you fished one up one down. When you upgrade your rods do you tinker with eye size and positions to suit type of reel (multiplier or fixed spool) and it's position on the butt. Another good watch, merry Christmas.

When I build a rod I use big enough eyes to make fishing and weed easy unlike a tournament casting rod where I would use lightest and just big enough eyes. Always reel down on multipliers it just happened the only rods I had was a fixed spool rod reel up. Which also have a fixed reel seat. Used what I had that day. All the best merry Christmas 🎅.
