150 meters was with a plain bomb on Friday on the firm flat sand. Big learning day and showing Keith how to cast even I realised stuff I need to do. So a good day had for both of us. No flies in this one John so didn’t mention it but did I mention my hip🤣. Great day and thanks for commenting pleased you enjoy the channel.

Nice to see you at Sutton again Vern. I live at the top end of Sutton about 400 yards from the beach at Bohemia Way. A trawler would have struggled to catch anything that day mate. At least the weather was decent.

Well what a fantastic day for fishing but the fish were somewhere but not here but it was a fantastic day i enjoyed it and we did a bit of casting after we finished fishing, and that was fun and learned a bit more on my casting nearly emptied my spool i like to thank vern for his time and enthusiasm such a fantastic pleasure fishing with him

Yes your spot on back to the Humber as weather after this day has been terrible. Should have caught dabs there all day but nothing 😱. Still we had a good day and showed Keith to cast which he casted further than ever before but still not as far as me🤣🤣. Walk back to van after the beach that you saw is on concrete so a good mark for me but lacking in fish I’m afraid. All the best John stay safe.

Hey m8. I'm a new angler, been lure fishing from inflatable boat in Wales, not much success . But I'm Nottingham, seeing if I can shore fish with what I've got: a 7ft and a 12ft spinning rods and reels. Washing thinking moggs eye and wondering if it's doable with plastic lures? I know nothing about baits, you see. Got any thoughts?

@@andrewgoodall2183 water is very murky on coast for lure fishing but give it a go. Go to trunch lane get some bait of Big catch tackle. Rag and squid and some rigs from them and weights 6oz. Get flapper rigs and pulley rigs. Then up the slope and fish there. If you then go to Moggs eye it’s £4 all day parking but at 10pm you must be out of carpark or you will get a ticket. No overnight parking. All the best.
