I like the 80-20 trick. It's like the guy is asking for consent and the lady gives the queue. As for ghosting, nowadays the main communication is online so being ghosted is your indicator that you're not compatible in a rude sense though. Just don't be 100% invested and leave something for yourself. Thus, as what Ben said, move on na dayon.
