Yessss!! Turkish coffee is the BOMB! Pro tip - get a cezve for it. It’s like a little pot for making it and you don’t get as much of the leftover grounds. Tastes better. And it’s super cheap.

You can find hummus in every bigger supermarket (Konzum, Spar, Kaufland...). The brand I see the most is called Sana.

@@canucankit unfortunately no.. with our doggie it gets a lil complex because they are non EU. Would love to visit both, so close to each other if you rent a car (just watch out for the rental car rules for Bosnia, sometimes restricted I think for insurance).

Hey! We're actually back in Croatia now along the coastline. Lots of places accept credit cards but always have at least 200-300 Kuna cash on you- either for tip or your entire bill. Many places only take cash :) we recommend getting a STACK card to take out money without conversion fees, we love it!

Haha I think it was in that moment we knew we stood no chance to getting a job in Zagreb. Before going, we knew everyone spoke Croatian but we naively thought English was also commonly used. Some (younger) people spoke English but it doesn't seem to be used unless they were talking to us. We tried to learn it but failed 😭it's such a beautiful language ❤️

Hey guys, I love your croatian videos, especially those from Zagreb! As a purger myself, imho so much of this town is virtually unknown even to natives, not to mention newcomers! It really is a city of many secrets, such as an actual old growth forest trail literally five minutes from the center... "Fun" fact, witches used to be be burned there, not that long ago, right where today's summer cinema and children's playground is. This was day 1 in Zagreb and we were just getting settled in for our 3 months stay after travelling 16 hours the day before 🙂 we have more videos showcasing this beautiful city, we visited parks, hiked the mountain, did some sight seeing too! Of course our stay ended early due to COVID-19 but looking forward to our return one day!

@@VeroandJustin still debatable but accepted in society, Karlovacko, Ozujsko, Tomislav (made by Ozujsko brewery i think, dark and tasty, 2 max hihi), Kasacko, Velebitsko (those two belong to Lika county, dont take dark, same taste), San Servolo (pricey from Istria) and many more. But Pan, oh damn, maybe Pan Zlatni (gold) if there is no option i take it and honestly its quite good, but regular Pan...put into toilet straight, waste of money for urine like beer
