Metallique is such an interesting fragrance! It gives me a direct memory from my childhood of washing the silverware in the kitchen sink with all the suds from the Sunlight dish detergent ☺️ And now I have found a product that smells so much like Metallique and even has that metal smell in it.. it is Palmolive Ultra Spray Away in the green bottle. Spray this on a pot in your kitchen sink and tell me it doesn’t smell like you have a sink full of Tom Ford Metallique! It’s spot on! 👍🏻 I don’t want a full bottle but it’s definitely a difference yet pleasant one :)

Like Neroli Portofino smells exactly like the Sunlight brand powdered laundry detergent that used to come in that big yellow box.. one sniff and suddenly I’m a teenager in the laundry room in my parent’s basement digging through the laundry powder to find the green plastic scoop. 😅 Again, I probably wouldn’t want a full bottle but I would however consider getting the Neroli Portofino Acqua because it has the same smell but an added beautiful musk to give it some depth and interest. 😊

@@GBFragrances "pegao" is a colloquial term for "pegado" which is the part of the rice on the bottom of the pot that "sticks" if you over cook it. In Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands, people cook it like that on purpose and actually like it, including me! 😉😉😉

I used to wear Romance back in the day but it came off a bit harsh maybe on my skin, but you've got me interested in Beyond Romance - must get a sample. The Toy Boy bottle!! Not for me either, although I've never smelt the fragrance itself. You said to let you know what I thought of Mont Blanc Signature when I received the sample. Ermm, not sure! I think it probably is a lovely fragrance on others, but it made me feel slightly nauseous. I tend to go for fresh scents mainly, although I love NR For Her EDT and EDP. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone but not having much luck! I blind bought Agent Provocateur Electric after you raved about it and, oh boy, it is gorgeous - thank you :)

In the UK we don't have the option to return a fragrance or make up product once we've opened it so I always do lots of research before I blind buy x

Test before buying first.
