To be honest, I have been a perfume addicted person, perfume is a subject to me understanding every bit of it. My conclusion about Versace eros edp is like…it’s a perfume which has the audacity to defeat any perfume irrespective of brand, price range, smelling & longevity department. This stays on you for at least 12 hours with no other perfumes brave enough to compete with it when it comes to projection which is well balanced & gives an expensive impression. I am writing this as my own opinion after using more than 100s of different perfumes including the most famous & super hyped international brands. Eros edp is the Mike Tyson of all perfumes if you think all other perfumes are professional boxers. If there is a guy who loves to rule, conquer, dominate & stay humble at the same time unless teased, it’s for him. Hyper beast…the one & only boss of the bad boy genesis. Curly fragrance is an absolute delight to watch when she speaks about fragrances with extreme enthusiasm & in a fun way. Thanks to your effort for such nice videos on perfumes. You look fabulous…& you spread good vibes🤩

@@royroyale539 well these aren’t really considered expensive, but as this is your first fragrance, you want something very versatile. I’d say go with 1 million - if that’s too feminine for you then pick Versace Eros. I would recommended you do not pick Dior savage as your first.

I have two bottles of Edt and i tried Edp at the airport and loved the wdp that i bought the edp days later. To me its stronger, more minty toothpasty and a lil more mature than edt. I like it so much more than the edt. Im gnna get rid of my edt, its such and upgrade.

@@funnycomplications4582 Yeah that was one of the reasons why I switched because of all the reading I had done about the newer EDT batches. EDP unfortunately only lasts just a little longer than the new EDT. Regardless, it smells better and if you do the "curly method" of a lot of sprays you should be fine either way. Go for the EDP.

Your nose is better than mine, I actually could not tell the difference, bought the EDT and I get compliments whenever I wear it. It’s what you expect from Versace. It’s bold and elegant.

The EDT is fresher with a heavier mint and also an apple opening and is generally less sweet than the EDP. Agreed that the EDP is smoother and better blended but the EDT is more versatile due to the added freshness and may likely get more compliments from the air scent for that reason.

@@baldealpha0997 Nope....the EDP is not just sweeter but considerably sweeter as the reviewer said. Doubt u have smelled the two together if u can say the EDT is sweeter. The EDT is certainly 'louder' as in projects more in the opening stages...not sure if that's why u think its sweeter. I think its a matter perception because everything in the EDT is amped up. Relative to the EDT though there is virtually no freshness in the EDP but because the EDP is more smooth and subtle it may seem less sweet up close...but it isn't....and certainly not in the air where the volatility of the apple and mint notes hits the nose first and attracts much more compliments from the EDT (in my experience).

This is good to know. I've been wearing EDP in springtime, where the highs have been in the 60s, and I can tell it can go higher. It's so versatile. Versace did a great job on this EDP!

I prefer the freshness of the EDT because I live in the tropics and the temperature here is just right for it. Projecting like a beast, fresh and especially not too ooverwhelming. I've also tried the edp and parfum version, but they are too sweet and strong and gives me a headache.

I bought the NEW VERSACE EROS ENERGY, but coming back to Versace Eros I also wanted to own the Blue bottle too. I was thinking of getting the edp version, but my mate gave me a 30ml bottle of the EDT. I couldn't refuse as I am a big fan of the original, especially if its more fresher and sweet at the same time. Just want to own both the NEW Eros Energy and the classic EDT of the original. I have tried the EDP verion of the original, but the EDT is alot cheaper especially if you can get a 200ml bottle for £90 from discounters. While the NEW Eros Energy is my New go to scent, it would be nice to have a collection of NEW and old. Both Blue and Yellow bottles I have yet to decide between the EDT or EDP of the original, but will use my mates full 30ml bottle first.

I blind bought the EDP because of your review and reactions when you asked the beautiful ladies and because I love the EDT. So many damn compliments. ONE PROBLEM with the EDP. THE DRY DOWN after 4-5 hours turns into a bad MUSK on the skin!!!! 😢. I’ll just give it away as a gift. The same thing happens with LAYTON- I work with all nurses/ ladies at work. Okay so I've never commented about a fragrance, but tonight I was wearing Eros EDP in a grocery store and I passed two teenage girls who called out Sir to get my attention and when I turned around they very nicely said you smell so nice and I responded with a cordial thank you. This was not the first time my wearing of Eros EDP has been complemented, but it just confirms that I will be buying a another bottle very soon. You needn't worry about buying it blindly. Just pulled the trigger and enjoy it once you are able to test drive it yourself. In conclusion, it is the most complimented fragrance I have in my collection. It has never failed me. Enjoy the experience.

I just recently got the EDP, and it is so well balanced! You could almost wear it through all 4 seasons, and the endurance is crazy! I love the EDT, but it is just too loud for me. I actually get self-conscious when I wear it. I have a bottle of the Parfum on the way to me, and if it can be a smoother version of the EDT, I will be very happy. It's easy to see why the Eros line has been so successful for Versace.

Bought the EDP version recently and expected a lot more. Didn't blow me away when I smelt it first time at all. Maybe I was expecting too much but it smells quite generic. It's not bad, but based on how people talk about it, it was a surprising let down. I could only bring myself to spray 6 or 7 times today (but I was in pretty close proximity with people all day so didn't want to choke people out)...maybe I need to spray more. Nobody mentioned it and I couldn't really smell it on myself either after the first few minutes. It feels like a lot of other fragrances smell really similar. The last I bought was Tom Ford Extreme and that has a VERY CLEAR unique smell. I can smell that on myself all day with just a few sprays, as can others. Maybe it's just me...but this just didn't live up to it.

I just ordered this blind after many videos recommending it. It's pleasant, I ordered sauvage elixir and tom ford ombre leather at the same time and all just arrived. both the tom ford and elixir have considerably stronger projection. The eros is nice but I was hoping for it to be stronger

For anyone who wants to read this.....12 hours later....tom ford ombre leather completely dead in 2 hours after a strong initial spray down there's a clone by the essence vault which smells better for the first 4 hours, lasts all day but smells like cardamom (curry) after 4 hours, sauvage elixir is sooo strong I could still smell it on my skin after a bath. Finally the versace Eros, initially the others smelt stronger but this lasted allllll day and it's definitely a compliment winner, it's hand in hand with chanel sport and bleu de chanel for compliments. It's definitely going into the permanent stock

I think people focus too much on winter fragrances. sure there is a lot of great ones in that group but they not really suitable for the other parts of the year. for men's fragrances I think about 50% of them are for winter and the other 50% are for summer/autumn/spring. I used to gloss over fragrances like versace eros thinking that there were way better options out there. but thinking about it now, for a spring/autumn fragrance eros is actually a pretty *solid* pick (right in between la nuit d'lhomme bleu electrique and bleu de chanel edt/edp/parfum). profundo is another great one I have heard you recommend a lot in the past. I always thought "pft, profundo is not as good as profumo. its got worse ratings and is also weaker. why would i ever get that?). but it is for a completely different season! for a summer time scent, performance of profundo is actually really quite good. now I am lookin at adding some balance to my collection. got so many gaps to fill but with summer just around the corner for me I am really looking forward to adding profundo and light blue forever to my collection :3

Try rasasi sotoor waaw Curly, it's you in a bottle:) you don't need to overspray but even if you do it won't offend people (too much) It's spicey, woody, gourmandish, great quality and has crazy depth, it's at least on par with mancera or montale quality This is one i kinda keep as a secret:) But like i said it's you in a bottle, it fills up a room but does it nicely and non offensive. It lasts for DAYS on clothing! it's supposed to be unisex but it leans towards a men's fragrance, but you can pull it off.

My new bottle of Eros EDP smells like fresh herb leaves for the first 2 hours as vanilla gradually comes through. So herbaceous. Will the vanilla and apple notes come out more after 1-2 weeks maceration? It’s too herbaceous.

I prefer EDT over EDP. T has more freshness and projection is heavy.

Agreed...the EDT is considerably fresher. I much prefer the sweet/fresh combo which also lends itself to more versatility and compliments. The EDP is mostly sweet....more suited to cooler weather in my opinion.

I havent smelled Eros EDT for many years. I wasnt keen on it back then. It smelled like Furniture Polish to me

Yo curly, this was a great review on Versace Eros EDP 😊 this is a very good fragrance 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 I also have Eros flame as well. I honestly bought the EDT version of this at my local Walmart, which there was only one left available, and it was kinda a blind buy, since I was basing it off of reviews I've seen on it online. I really enjoy the EDT and even enjoy the dry down as well, and it does last 8 hours+ on my skin. Looking forward to trying out the EDP now, seeing that it's better than the EDT version.

Do you know if your edt is the reformulated one because the original edt lasted a long time but I got the new reformulated edt and it just didn’t last long

@@davidminden9835 Mine I got at a local Walmart, and it was the Eau de Toilette written on the bottle itself. I don't own the original EDT version of Versace Eros atm.

I like Amouage, Interlude Man so much, that I don't need a second opinion. But a review about how some women percieve it would be interesting. A friend told me she liked it, although I don't think it's a sexual fragrance. My 19 year old nephew said he hated it and moved his nose away.
