This retrospective-esque collection really shows how timeless his designs were. Really hats off to Donatella for this tribute collection. It's touching to see her at the finalé holding back the tears as she clings on to her Supermodel friends. What a woman. This little lady kept the ship afloat since her brother's death. It must not have been easy for her as she had a family to maintain but she maintained both her family and the House of Versace. Really Donatella BRAVA. We love you.

Super Models are Super models for some reason. They can slay and put fire on every show. Those Super models received the title because they are art in themself. But these new insta girls are just models. JUST MODELS. They are lucky enough to walk on same runway with those Super models. Insta models are maybe famouse but that doesnt make them Super Models. Being famous is not becoming Super Models. Kendall, Bella and also gigi are 100000 mile behind those Super models and other models like Natasha Poly, Maria Carla, Karlie Kloss and so on. Insta girls are just rookie models. Actually we audience dont need them to walk on runway. But Designers and Brands need them to promote their Brand. Yes, Kate Moss is an icon and legendary model, and definitely a supermodel, but she came a bit later after the original supermodels. When Kate entered the scene, the heroin chic look became the standard in fashion, which was the antidote to the glamorous supermodels of the late 80s and early 90s. Kate popularized the waif look, which brought skinnier and bonier girls in fashion who had a youthful but almost expressionless face (kinda as if the soul was sucked out of them hence the term heroin chic) look that didn't evoke the ripeness of womanhood the prior supermodels exuded. These girls were more bare in makeup, and the clothing colors became monochromatic with designs going very minimalist in general. Gianni Versace was about opulence, glamour, sex appeal, and vibrancy which are things that Kate's generation didn't exude. I mean, Amber Valletta was from Kate's generation, and she was invited to attend the show as a guest, but wasn't asked to walk the catwalk. As a tribute to Gianni, I think it was fair enough with just the original supermodels he made into household names. But, regardless, having Kate Moss would have been nice.
