Versatube Carport 10x20 Part 1 Frame

I share my experience so far with my versatube carport.
it's a 10x20x8 enclosed carport in this video I go over the frame
and will be a part two soon where I put on the sheet metal and share that process.
Very excited to be able to use this space for more projects ad content

Can you share your experience with the shipping method? Did you have to pay extra for a lift to unload?

They delivered to my drive way Truck pulled up and guy asked me where I wanted the pallets. I don’t think I had to pay any extra Was 2 delivery’s The frame comes in one and sheet metal in the other

Hey thanks for posting this! I am tempted to order the 8' as well with the gable kit. Do you know the actual interior height on the sides? Also the clearance under the gable? Thanks! This will be a huge help before I order.

Clearance under gable is 7 feet 2 inches The curve of the roof starts at 8 feet I believe the peak height is 9’3”

Hello. How easy would it be to make wall height shorter from a 10ft wall to 8ft. Because is 700dlr dofference from one to another.

So you can order shorter ones They sell all different sizes. But they upper pieces slide over the lower so you could just cut 1 foot off all the legs before attaching them if you want :)

@SteverGarage thank you. I priced out a 8ft wall and a 10ft wall and its like 700dlrs different because normal size is 10 ft and 8ft would be custom build.

A Impact driver works wonders on those screws. Likes good. I am about to order one for my motorcycles. Tired of buying covers that do not last long out here in AZ.

Best advice I can give is use a good drill bit and drill a pilot for each screw. Make it go so much faster Otherwise still very pleased with the carport Check out part 2 for a more updated video :)
