I love listening to pastor Gary Hamrick's sermons! It encourages me to stand up for what is right in the eyes of the Lord not what the world thinks. There are too many false teachers in the world today. We need more pastors like Gary that will preach the truth no matter what!! My family and I live in Hastings,MN. and wish to visit your church someday. We go to Hope Community Church and like that church but I also like listening to Gary's sermons. Thank you so much for preaching the truth!! Amen. Bless you pastor Gary!!❤

Thank you pastor Gary. Is Christmas not a "worldly thing" that creeped into the church? Why are we celebrating like the world?
@RandyKleine45150Ай бұрын
Pastor G talks about bringing attractive, worldly ways into the Church at the expense of holiness. What about the "rock" worship band which is so loud that it precludes singing and participation by the congregation?

Side point, but thank you for always having such good sound quality & volume. I don't know what is up with YT lately, but there are videos I can barely watch because the volume is so low. I can't always sit at the computer. I often have videos playing as I am doing other things around the house. It's good to be able to hear as I'm walking around!

This clears up a lot for me regarding Uzzah but I still wonder how the Philistines carried it ANYWHERE without being struck down.

God often holds His people to a higher standard. Especially those in leadership positions. The godless will be judged, but He also gives them time to repent.

I have a piece of critique the Lord has been putting on my heart recently, for this church, and hopefully I can say this as lovingly as possible, because I have great respect for Pastor Gary and he is one of my favourite teachers. He mentions part of his burden is trying to monitor to make sure worldly things aren’t creeping into the church. May I ask though, recently, I tuned in (because I live in Canada) and was pretty shocked when I heard a woman singing the American national anthem…in church? I don’t recall in scripture ever reading the disciples singing the Roman national anthem? Even if it was a holiday akin to their Fourth of July. Scripture says sing praises to God. It was also quite disheartening seeing the comments of all the people praising this gesture. There was one lonely person apart from myself who expressed the same concern hearing the national anthem sung in a service. I see secular things are in fact creeping into this church, whether you see it or not.
@mrsoyekan6252 Жыл бұрын
Hey, I wouldn't call singing the national anthem secular as such, after all the church is in the US and unless they are singing the national anthem with the AIM to worship the leaders, or to make idols of the pride they have in their country I don't see much wrong in it. They live in the US, work and worship God in their country. They pray for their country... taking some ownership of the country isn't secular actually. God looks at the heart.

Why King David hated the me and those blind?
@TheSweetpea197129 күн бұрын
"I gave you your master’s house and your master’s wives into your keeping, and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if that had been too little, I also would have given you much more!" ~2 Samuel 12:8 God gave David many wives but then he took the wife living righteous man. That was the sin...and then the unaliving... "If a man have two wives, one beloved, and another hated, and they have born him children, both the beloved and the hated; and if the firstborn son be hers that was hated" ~Deuteronomy 21:15 Let's not get into isogesis. I'm a woman and I'm not a huge fan of the idea of having any sister wives, that's why it should be discussed and agreed upon during betrothal whether or not that could be an option at any time in the future. If he doesn't agree to never do it then don't marry him. And of course civil laws preclude it in most of the Western world...the same civil laws that allow various and sundry abominations. BUT GOD NEVER EVER SAID THOU SHALT NOT, EXCEPT WITH REGARD TO UNEQUALLY YOKED UNIONS WHICH WOULD LEAD TO IDOLATRY. AND PAUL, THOUGH HE WAS AN AUTHORITY CANNOT MAKE LAWS THAT TRUMP GOD'S PERMISSIVE WILL. AND WHEN A MAN WEDS A WOMAN AND THEY CONSUMMATE THEIR UNION THE TWO BECOME ONE FLESH. IF HE THEN WEDS ANOTHER AND THEY CONSUMMATE THEN HE BECOMES ONE FLESH WITH WIFE #2 AS WELL AND SO ON. AGAIN: I AM NOT THRILLED WITH THE IDEA, AND GRANTED IT DOESN'T OFTEN IF EVER SEEM TO BE VERY HARMONIOUS, BUT WE CANNOT CHERRY PICK AND CONDEMN WHAT GOD NEVER EXPRESSLY CONDEMED. Just saying. God bless you and thank you for your teachings. I am blessed by the verse by verse format and your sense of humor. (Even the dad jokes.😅) 🙏🏽🕊🙌🏽📖📜
