As a musician myself, I was also teary-eyed while listening to the orchestra. The music is just so beautifully composed and very reflective of the caliber of Genshin Impact and the effort that Mihoyo has poured into the game. :)

I have a feeling that Scaramouche in his "screenshot" is talking to Baal instead of Traveler. My theory is that Scaramouche was a failed vessel for Baal.

@@boop_9767 Much like how Venti, Zhongli and Raiden are the current human vessels for Barbatos, Morax and Baal. Perhaps Scaramouche was flawed in a way that Baal didn't except and cast it aside, but maybe out of pity gave him free will, emotions and a mind of its own, and maybe raised him, but he desired revenge anyway.

Your comment on orchestras is so accurate. Hearing these pieces in game or in their OSTs is amazing in and of itself, but when you hear it and see it being performed by a full blown orchestra and see people make those sounds, atleast for me, its almost hard to believe that people just blowing air or strumming strings can make those sounds, it gives it a bit of an ethereal feeling. The first time I ever felt that ethereal feelings was watching John Williams conduct the more somber star wars pieces or hedwigs theme from Harry Potter. These games would just not be the same without Yu-Peng Chin.

For me the cringe comes from the very scripted parts and scripted laughs. If you look at the CN livestream, they’re a lot more full hearted about it

I watched it like I'm watching a noontime show here in the philippines, the boomer jokes, the scripted laugh and all and I still had fun watching it regardless.

The reason why they placed it there because during recording of additional voice lines, Mara Junot was very busy in VA work, as they couldn't reach her at that time. (Other than voicing Lisa and Sindel, she also voices program continuities and TV and Radio commercials)

her not having crit is possibly the best thing to happen, healers don’t need crit. now she heals more without losing anything. plus, from what i’ve heard (which is not confirmed) she enjoys a boost in power from the healing bonus stat

From my perspective mihoyo want to make kokomi dealing dmg with elemental reaction from her mainland electro charge that will be a good alternative for being a healing support and sub dps. Imo its getting bored to play vaporise and melt reaction, since the 1.6 (kazuha release) and 2.0 (ayaka and yoimiya release) update i just relize swirl and freeze comp is so much fun, even yoimiya taking overload with fischl is better than pairing with xingqiu, so im assuming next baal and kokomi release willl be highlight the electro charge reaction
