There's a mistake. Bond of life is applied after all the damage is calculated, meaning that if you use her skill with xiangling burst, bond of life will consider all the 7 damage dealt It also applies to superconduct piercing damage too. It will give +3 damage on skill which results in 4 bond of life

It's also applied to a new swap target if your original target dies from the attack, which is insane value provided you manage to do it with high damage snipe. Don't know about forced swaps (i.e. normal as operative on pyro inflicted target while having Beidou burst up) but likely it's the case for them as well.

Great video, but you totally forgot to mention that the bond of life is calculated by *total* damage, meaning it can get buffed by reactions! This means that with (for example) mona you can get 4 damage (Freeze), which is 2 Bond of Life, which will double to 4 with Talent. And of course, melt and superconduct will result in even more bond of life gained, making them incredibly potent I personally really like FO with Lyney, as his summon is really good for setting up reactions, not to mention the power of fatui resonance. Bennet is also a really good combo, but for me getting BoL on the enemy as soon as possible is usually the best strategy to negate any and all healing they might have

That navia dehya deck was terrible against a Barbara deck, the pyro always got cleansed so I never had any elements to react with ever

Haha yeah it doesn't do well into Barbara. There you're actually meant to just solo on Noelle and not use Dehya so that she can't cleanse. The Mona version is definitely easier to play

frost operative is probably my favourite right now because I play them in a deck with bennett and lyney (bennett to buff their damage and lyney to clean up if frost op and benny can't finish it themselves) If I get the full setup off (which is just bennett burst with talent card) if the opponent has pyro aura, frost op's skill does 7 dmg and applies 5 bond of life, 10 with talent card and it's DEVASTATING to those who need on field healing for their DPS (like Neuvilette and Wriothesley) This deck doesn't always work but it's honestly a lot of fun to play so I don't mind the occasional losses

​@@dam.sinfull @dam.sinfull Yeah its bound to happen. I will admit though, I kinda understand why they made it as they did. Overcharged ball applies pyro as opposed to the shrapnel which only does physical, but that alone hardly makes it justifiable.

@@dorianmckinney7496Shrapnel also draws a card which can potentially chain with each other (if you can afford it) or draw a useful card. So 1 DMG w/ 1 draw for 1 die seems like it should’ve probably been a combat action. I mean it’s pretty fun sniping someone with these one at a time, but it’s also pretty annoying on the receiving end. Especially with all the mental math going on in figuring out how many shrapenels the opponent has in hand/deck and what are the chances they have more/drew into from drawing/playing a shrapenel.

I think a fair nerf to Crystal Shrapnel would be to make it take 1 Geo dice instead of any element. It severely limits how much you can do with the card in a very simple way.

The chev’s talent require pyro/electro only so does signora work since she can be a pyro character too?

It actually does since you can ADD the card to your deck without a restriction. Once Signora flips you can then equip it because she is considered Pyro

Yes! I've seen some players play Navia Narwhal and another Hydro - you can try Herald Mona or Furina. I think it's quite effective
