Guy on the left is wrong about ‘the childish’ part. Max is Dutch! We are used to say whatever we want to say on tv. It will be broadcasted without censorship. The F word is commonly used, in the Netherlands, when something went wrong.

Maybe a little bit naughty (not childish) from Max, I can imagine that this has been the case. But fully agree...this is how he/we (NL) express ourselves; it's not swearing, it's just common language, short, to the point, same kind of word as any other word.

The whole Max saying f*cked about his own car, is just an overblown history. Just stupid, a racing driver is not a school teacher, nor a judge, nor a TV commentator. As a Dutch I can confirm that we like our liberty taken very seriously, and our country is not that deranged as many other countries, with so called more educated language use!

I am Dutch and indeed we use the word fuck a lot, we consider it a swear word but we use it to mark a situation that is fucked up.😂

I am dutch, i use the word daily. It is a generaly accepted word and not at all offencive when use to point something out. To say something like "f*ck you" would be frowned upon ofcourse.

Maybe to add a few points to what people did mention: Max is not a native English speaker. The ‘feeling’ or ‘impact’ of using the f-word is different in the Netherlands as it is in native language spoken countries. He does a tremendous job trying to speak a foreign language, he speaks it well, and is being punished for such a mistake… Next to that: last week, and probably during the evaluation, he has called the car f-ed a number of times. I think it also became a way to address that setup for him.

Max said the f-word on purpose during the press conference. Normally he doesn’t swear like that during the press conference…he did it because of Ben Suleyem’s remarks. That’s why I think he’s a hero to make this statement! During the race almost every driver swearers…some more than others, but he’s not the only one. Actually in every sport this happens, not only f1. The Fia complains about this but they use max’s swearing on the radio to make the race more exiting. How hypocrite can you be! If or when Max decides to leave f1 because of these shenanigans…f1 will be less exiting. That would be a shame…

How to interpret the Red Bull pace if we combine Baku (Sergio not far off...what might Max have been able to do with the same set-up as Perez) with Singapore (far off Lando, but way better than expected?) Is the gap as big as Singapore shows, or is it already, on a regular race track as Baku showed? Everybody seems to forget that at Baku, Perez was able to keep up, kind of, with Charles and Oscar (ps: I'm NL, I might be biased;-))

Lando absolutely dominated Singapore. But it wasn’t flawless. He needs to win everything but currently he is not, even with the best car on the grid. And Mohamed Ben Sulayem only wants one thing and that’s F1 is all about him. He only made a misjudgement and that’s Max, and max is becoming his worst nightmare. I bet MBS is just watching himself on replay to relieve oneself.

Maybe like they do in radio, have an eight second delay in transmissions specifically for the reason you are talking about. Plus to the acted like a child at the conference go back and listen to what he said and the context he used the language. He explained the difference. Would love to every driver do a presser and use the word. Maybe they all come out for the parade pre race with their undies over their overalls and dressed like mr T.

when you predict a race result based on a feeling, thats you get absolutely wrong.. max will never win another race this season, the way he did his qualifying at spa describe everything.. he 0,7 sec faster than anybody else, then at the race he can only overtake his teammate.. since then he tried the all out on his setup on the quali session just to get a better race position, not for the win...he need redbull to do some magic or putback another ilegal part on his car or the FIA back to manipulated the season again to save his a**, then he can win again this season..
