It''s not so much what he does with the ball it's what he does without it that makes him such an incredible player. The pressure he puts the opposition under is second to none, and when he does get a possession he cuts the opposition up every time. Putting it simply, a 12 disposal game from Rioli is probably the equivalent of a 25-30 disposal games from a Sammy Mitchell.

Jetta is faster over long distances and has a really penetrating kick. He slots goals from 60 on the run. Rioli plays in the forward line and can duck outta tackles easily and sell candy, tackles a lot, great marks, more contested ball. Both great players but this year you'd have to go with Jetta easily simply because his ability to run and carry the ball to the forward line. It's probably most definitely because I'm a Swans supporter but Jetta is more exciting to watch for me :)

Put it this way: Rioli is more complete. Jetta won the day, but wasn't mentioned for the Norm Smith. If Rioli had played well he would have been up for discussion. If you were told one of them would win a Norm Smith or a Brownlow, but only one of them, I'd back Rioli.

How has Rioli peaked and Jetta and improving... they're both 23 years of age and are nowhere near peaking. It is also funny how Jetta beats rioli in a sprint and he is instantly a better player hahaha. Rioli is known for his agility and acceleration, not for his sprint speed..

Rioli is better over a whole season, he is more consistent. But in the 2012 finals Jetta was almost the best out of everyone

Both amazing quick, small players. Cyril takes incredible pack marks like a much bigger player, and is so quick to tackle, beautifully balanced and a great snap for goal...Lewis is just starting to come of age & will become the most exciting player in the League over the next few years, starting in 2012...He is the quickest player in the comp, he moves like a hot knife thru butter, and is almost the best field kick as well. He has amazing vision & is tackling hard now, Bloods style...Blessed...

Cyril, he can win games off his own boot. Almost did it against WCE, the tackle he did against Geelong should of been the game winner and he his last 5-10 minutes against Adelaide won us the game. However, I believe Burgoyne will be the deciding factor come Saturday.

I can't believe how different these players are given how similar they are. Its hard to say. Jetta plays on a wing and is a lot fitter, and this also means he is more consistent. He also has a much better and longer kick than cyril. However, Cyril has plenty of polish, yet is still able to get the defensive work done. Way too hard to split. It would depend on what team i would be picking them for.

Jetta for sure. He is faster, has better stats, in 10 years he will have 3-5 brownlow medal hanging around his neck and will never get run down or beaten by Rioli. JETTA WILL GET THE SYDNEY SWANS MANY PREMIERSHIPS NOONE CAN DENY THAT!

rioli is so overrated. He gets 12 disposals and a goal and suddenly played the most amazing game ever. The commentators love him solely because he's fast, but he isn't even close to the quickest player around. Just taking Carlton, as I also support of them, Armfield, Garlett and Yarren would all be quicker. Jettas also faster (as he proved in the grand final).
