So it was a full video without saying anything. The only time you said something, it was unfair comparison. It is fine that a game has no expansion yet. It is a new game. Usually people will buy a base game and only later buy expansions. Which base game is better? Where is the strength of each game? Why would people enjoy one and not the other? It cant be that the only difference is amount of icons vs text

no one says you have to play any of the Wingspan expansions. The core game by itself is terrific. I've played it 50+ times. The expansions, not so much (though the Asia expansion is great by itself). The Wingspan core will be around for a long time. Personally, I find it easier to teach a game with fewer symbols and better explanations on the card itself.

Thanks so much for the comment! I don't think you can go wrong either way, and Wingspan is 1) easier to find at retail; and 2) much more mainstream and recognizable. You really cannot go wrong with either, and I'm at the point where I might drop my expansions and just keep the base game to play once or twice a year.

Thanks for making this! Played it AGAIN last night with a couple new people and they loved it! I think both games are phenomenal, and both have their place. Right now, though, I'm enamoured by Robots!
