Trouble always feels worse when you're in it. There will always be people who think whoever is the current PM is the worst PM ever. Rishi though might have managed to genuinely be the worst PM ever. He's worse than Cameron's years of austerity, Johnson's Brexit shitshow and identity politics, Blair's war crimes, Truss' economic meltdown, etc. He's certainly the worst of my lifetime. And as a history student I can't think of any other PM who has been such a total policy failure, on top of being an immoral, elitist, bigoted person.

I remember thinking that the US was screwed if Obama lost to Mitt Romney. Now, I wish the republicans had a sensible statesman like Mitt Romney leading them. It's the same in the UK. I look at Starmer and wish we had Corbyn at the head of Labour, because at least Corbyn stood for something and wasn't just Tory Lite. I look at Sunak and long for the halycon days of Cameron.

Love how James O’Brien is perceived to be anti Tory.
