Hey there, thank you for playing our demo. We apologize for some mistakes found in the demo, they had gone under the radar and were only discovered post starting the conversion to unity's HDRP (a completely different rendering pipeline) so, unfortunately, people will have to wait for some fixes and features to be added (basically modernizing our graphics). As for the VHS tape 1 the distance doesn't matter, if the real one teleports before getting flashed its over. You can also flash illusions without losing, the "may be fatal" part was added to discourage people from excessively using flashes since you are as good as dead if you used up your flashes and haven't hit the right one. I had fun. I wish I could have gotten to the end but I just wasn't sure what I was supposed to do to properly avoid the entities along that path. Maybe I was just being dumb. Good luck with the project!

I'm pretty sure that only works if you say the full name. You can't just say "Beet, beet, beet" and expect Beetlejuice to show up.
