Not bad for a first run around. Once the gearing and suspension is sorted she should be sweet.

I didn't mean to offend anyone, seriously ... but a VOR is not the same as a Vertemati ... it happens that I'm the very fortunate owner of some of these beautiful bikes ... I repeat : a VOR is not a Vertemati, it just isn't the same... for a ton of reasons ... sorry ! VOR bikes were made after some workers bailed out of the Vertemati Bros. this is what Guido and Alvaro keep telling me : ) They are made of lower quality standards , which infuriated the Vertemati brothers back in the day ... but that's just history ... nothing to do with sarcasm

doncarlo5 no offence taken. I understand that there is a difference between the exotic Vertemati and the production one's. But this is an x Colin Hill Team Thunder UK Vertemati which was a UK team back in the day. As I said it's badged up as a Vertemati, which is what it/they were sold as over here before they went to VOR. A good friend of mine used to import them from the factory, Brian Williams from Wildmoor. The last one's they imported were the silver and white one's which I think were more of a true Vertemati, not being lead by Bimota... I think 🤔 ?

those silver ones with read seat, are the ones I mean, they have a different fame than the VOR ( for example, as many other features it would be to long to list ), among other things they have the oil reservoir inside the frame tubes, they are much beefier in any aspect ... those are the bikes with which Italian factory rider Max Manzo took the second place at world championship in 2002 in supermotard unlimited displacement class ... they are legendary bikes ... the factory engine is a beast, pulls like a tractor ... a real torque monster with tons of power at high revs ... it almost displaces 700 cc . and it took all the skills of that son of a gun of MAX MANZO to control ... I'm not trying to undervalue you VOR ( I'm sure it has top notch suspension works on it ), but the factory Vertemati all had Öhlins shocks ( front and rear) ... these were also imported to UK, in very small numbers ... you have to remember that the Vertemati Bros. only built 1000 of them , all together They are all built by hand .. even the frame , was built buy the same co. in Reggio Emilia that makes the factory frames for TM racing ... I bought one in the UK a long time ago ... I drove all the way from the continent to get that particular one : ) I know the Vertemati Brothers very well , ( being Italian myself , and keep in constant touch with them ... they are super nice guys ! Believe me ! They had to sell their original factory racers not long ago, ... due to financial straits : ( I've sen them in action at the race track in Italy ... just can't compare to other stock Vertemati ....they are incredibly loud, as a matter of fact , they are so loud that the guy who owns them got kicked out of the track , twice! I was there, LIVE ... he got kicked out AFTER ONE LAP ,because the decibel readings were WAY over the allowed 94 Db ... they also have top notch technology ( for the day) like Akrapovic full titanium ... keihin FCR carb, Beringer full kit ( pump , 6 piston caliper !! aeronal disc ), and of course ... Öhlins, front and rear ! Nothing in comparison to stock Verts ! Everything is trimmed to weight saving ... everything is milled alloy, welded titanium, magnesium covers, everywhere you look ... all in all ... You cannot compare these bikes neither to any other stock Vertemati nor to VOR's ! Cheers
