That’s brilliant- screwing the pots on. I love it ❤ where there’s a will there’s a way. Awesome use for the ladder. Very enjoyable video.

Hi Diane, Congrats on getting all the subs. I had to click on this video, love all your plant display ideas, it fills my head with all sorts of new plans. The kitchen is complete, 🎉 and yesterday I got in the garden, it felt so good the sun was out and I was in my element pottering with the drive way display beds. Now I need a day at the garden centre. Thankyou for sharing, fabulous as ever. 🐞🌻🌱

Hi Tracey. So pleased you like the idea and I can just imagine a ladder display in your garden. Are you sure you don't have an old set in that hut of yours? 😁

I think its a great idea to screw down your pots you can also do a zip ties to attach thru holes then attach to a zip tie to step also anchor to the zipties thru the holes ..great idea to upcycle a older ladder..i like your idea..i so wish i could do over winter containers i really like how you have your containers i love your ferns and maples and hostas in your containers it been proven by my past result that over winter containers wont make it in my area( northeast near canada) the snow/ blizzard winds...your garden containers are my dream..atleast i can live vicariously thru other gardeners..lol..🌱🇺🇲🇨🇦

I'm so pleased that you liked my idea. It's a pity that you can't overwinter things and it does sound very cold where you are. Having said that, I will do some research into ferns to see if there are any really hardy ones that would withstand your low temperatures and get back to you. Happy gardening until then 😀

This kind of project is what makes a garden unique and special! I like that even better than the original idea with boards across. Well engineered, I love it! All the best, Michele 🌸🌿😀

Me too Michele. I think it would have taken up too much room in an A shape anyway. I can imagine one on your lovely porch area. Lovely to hear from you as always. Diane 😊

Good morning 🦋 I love your ideas I potting up four kinds of foxglove seedlings and thought of you 😊 Things are growing so fast Some old enough to bloom for the first time. I hope you and your family have a good week. Tell Shirley hi for me when you see her Thank you. 🌷 Thank you, Karan

Hi Karan. I hope your foxgloves do really well. What colours have you chosen? I'll be ringing Shirley tonight and will say hi from you. The weather is still so awful here that we only managed to get her out in her garden for the first time last Thursday. But she really enjoyed the fresh air and potted on her new Rhododendron. Hope you have a good week too. Diane 😀

Hi, I have a peach an apricot and common foxglove. The peach and apricot might bloom the first year. The fourth is the Strawberry Foxglove. It is a perennial stay’s smaller but it is full. mertensis is its name. I think I spelled it right. I am in an apartment with a space outside my bedroom and kitchen window. All in containers. I have a hydrangea ‘Ayesha’ that is huge. Lots of lilies a tree peony hellebores hostas little spring bulbs hardy fuchsias hardy orchids crocosmia and more 🙂. Oh and campanula and a rehmannia I grew from seed getting ready to bloom for the first time. Don’t ask how I get them all in that space 😊😊😊 I will be 81 in a couple of weeks. This last year I had both knees replaced so I couldn’t do a lot last year. I I have macular degeneration so I have one eye left. I do drive to the store and drs that is about it. Well, this is long. You work so hard and your videos help me 🌷 Karan We have a nice day that is warm, then overcast and chilly. I have only a few hours of sun in the morning so it’s kind of a woodland shade garden.

I'm really pleased that we have become gardening friends and look forward to hearing your comments. Have fun in your balcony garden. I would love a balcony outside my bedroom window 😀.
