Can Mouse 4 & 5, the thumb buttons, be held concurrently with the main buttons 1 & 2? I'm considering the C-18 as a replacement for a worn-out GXT-144 which besides being of poor build quality, had a design flaw that did not allow the thumb buttons to be held at the same time as the main buttons, and this was limiting in games.

Had it for about a week now myself, and yeah, can confirm that you can use the thumb buttons at the same time as left and right (1/2) mouse buttons. Thought about getting the GXT-144 myself, but with reviews mentioning the same problem you are having, I decided against it. From what I've seen people say, the Zelotes C-18 are among the most mentioned to be the best vertical mouse for gaming. You can get a fairly basic software on their website as well where you can change DPI, lighting settings, and program what buttons do what. Like for example, you can have 2 profiles where I currently have one using the arrow keys for the joystick and the other for wasd (I haven't used the wasd one yet as I still perfer to use the keyboard for movement in games). Setting it up for the arrow keys have been somewhat nice, though still unusual after just a week, for moving the map in older paradox interactive games for example.

I prefer their C-10 model. The C-18 farthest thumb button is out of reach for me unless I reposition my thumb - just to press it.

U R 100% right someone with massive thumb designed this mouse. Mine is still operational and I am very happy with it... apart form the "forward" button that is very very forward ;)

Where do you find mice for 5k dollars? I have quite a few "professional" gaming mice, none of which cost more than 60 USD. Super hyped to try a vertical mouse, though, I get this mouse delivered tomorrow.

@@BuyOrBuyNot123 The delivery was delayed, but I've been using the mouse for a few hours now and I love it. The only thing is the lift off distance is a bit further than my G pro superlight. But I'm definitely ordering 2 more backup mice.

I did buy backups as they were cheap. The first one skips scroll sometimes after 3 years but still running. Friday evening going for a party tonight all best mate.

Very similar, most important is how it fits in your hand. U would have to test them yourself to know for sure.

It's a personal choice. I have both. The C-18 furthest thumb button is out of reach of my natural grip. I can reach all the buttons on their similar C-10.

You should get the soft with the mouse. dont remember if it was CD or download soft form the manufacturer site all options there
