we prefer youtube so that we can understand the concept. if u just write steps from the books without explaining how, what's the use of watching?

Sir the integral of h*dA is the moment of the area of small surface about the free surface of the liquid and this = total area*dist. of C.G from the free surface so we get integral of h*dA= *(h bar)...?????

why we consider the pressure applied on the dF element is h.rho.g while the pressure is made by the water + material of the plane surface .. why should we consider only density of the liquid?

Sir i have doubt..y v r taking centre of pressure below the centroid???
@thinkmechanically
@thinkmechanically 4 жыл бұрын
As we go in depth the pressure increases and it give us continously increasing value to it obviously lie below the centroid

sir why center of pressure is below the center of gravity...
@sekharstalks8886
@sekharstalks8886 3 жыл бұрын
Bcoz, as we go on in depth of liquid pressure might be increased , so that's why the center of pressure is below the centroid....

how can vertical plane submerge will form pressure could you explain it for me I mean its obvious if we submerge horizontal surface on it can creates pressure due to its weight at fixed depth which finally give as P=pgh on horizontal plane but even during hydrostatic of fluid when it's not on movement what type force create on horizontal which exert pressure vertical plane surface

@sekharstalks8886

See the last step.. h* is sum of the h and IG/Ah... So it will be always greater than hbar that means it will lies below the c.g... c.g distance (h)+IG/Ah.equal to h*
