2. Modis can stop the graph while on a test drive by using your hand on the stop button. something you can drive and keep you free hand on the button. Verus you cannot use the buttons to stop the graphs. You have to use the touch screen. That means that you have to look away from the road to see where the stop button is on the touch screen. Seems a little dangerous to me. I use the stop and restart to mark areas to check when I get back to the shop

But still the best all around scanner for the aftermarket. The trouble shooter and information data base is unbeatable. It does connect to the wireless internet hub in our shop. Connects up to Shopkey or Mitchell on demand.

My shop is on the brink of upgrading to a Verus Pro. We have the Verdict which is at the latest update of 12.2, and all the accessories. I've been trying to find out what Operating System is the Verus Pro. Does anyone know ?

Tried to code a mercedes vito steering angle sensor today after replacing the steering rack using modis. 12.2 tells me not supported. So many gaps in coverage. Instead of introducing so many platforms why not improve on software coverage, Subscriptions are expensive and the some of the stuff they put on them is pointless I'd rather have important systems covered as compared to be able to operate a window motor using bi-directional control, i can do that with jumper cables or a power probe.

while Verus Pro is a substantial improvement to the old Verus there are still problems that should have been addressed. 1. Graphs will be lost if key is turned off or communication is lost. Modis save the graphs on the screen. Just stops the graph where the communication was lost. So you can look to see what happened just before it went dead or whatever.

True, no more updates soon for Windows XP I hear, we'll see.

windows XP not sure of the version though. Microsoft is ending support for XP

3. printing graphs so you can show the customer what is going on is a little bit of a problem. Trace one YELLOW? Really? tough to see on white background. Worse yet, Scale and sweep are white. Forget about using white for background. It will hide scale and sweep. Print screen will use a lot of ink!!! Print graphs from custom settings graphs will be only three graphs per page of paper. And if you print from regular scan three graphs per page plus all the pid lines. Lots of pages...

please look at Drivability and engine relearns a bit more. Diagnostics and your platforms are expensive. €230 for mercedes to recode a sensor when I could have included it as part of my repair is a bit embarresing when i have the machine to do it but you dont want to write the alithogram. Business is hard to get, customers dont always want to pay high prices but every month I still pay for my platform and subscription. So how about helping me out???
