I’ve noticed that metal things make the magnetic meter go off a lot but I’ve never had it go off for me for anything I’d think was paranormal.. I could always debunk it if it did go off.. which makes me happy because that means it’s a real trustworthy app you’ve developed and not a scam!! So I truly appreciate that and the hard work and honesty you guys put into everything! And hopefully I can get some of that merch soon! I’ve never considered buying merch from anyone before but I would actually like to have something of yours!

Absolutely Jessica. Thanks for the comment. Yes, the app is intended with no cheesy sound or visual fx added - just the raw readings to help test the pre-existing paranormal theories. I have found the proximity sensor for me (on Android) has never really gone off for me that can't be explained, but some other users have reported it going off. The magnetometer I always try to debunk just by retracing my steps or holding it near other items in the room to look for potential interference.

Good one Chooka and Jarrad.. it is such a great place. Back in the day you could get the best scones, jam and cream with a cuppa. Also used to be a restaurant. I remember having a meal there and John Schumann (lead singer of Redgum) was eating at the next table. That was the same night the stuffed magpie flew off the shelf and landed at our feet!

Great episode, Amy. I love it when the Ghosttube repeats words, especially when "Mary" was also mentioned on the AHH investigation. The building reminded me of something you would find in the British countryside. Lydia mentioned imprints, I think the children's voices that were heard could have been an imprint. The part where you ask the spirit to sit in the chair, so you could see it. I wonder if that puts the spirit off, if it knows you can see it, it stays hidden. If spirits don't understand how a person can see it, can being seen be scary to the spirit. On the the production side, I loved that fade to b&w at 8:20. Amy, well done to you on that awesome effect!

The location for the investigation, Bluey’s Blacksmith, was without question one of the most beautiful, wonderful venues. The kitchen area in particular invoked extreme feelings of nostalgia in me…I felt like it is a place I should be, belong. The activity you encountered was amazing, and totally wonderful. I often get strong feelings of “the past”,nothing definitive, almost like wisps of a past life but without any sort of details. This happens most when I visit old places like Bluey’s. I live in Brisbane and have only spent the occasional day in SA, so I find it strange about my feelings for Bluey’s Smithy. I’d dearly love to be able to wind the clock back to these times, times that I feel like I belong. Keep up the great work…I’m really enjoying the Australian investigations.
