I just want everyone to know that I normally like to read and respond to each comment but this has been a very busy week with VBS, family sicknesses, trips to the hospital to visit, and just all the things that life has to throw at us. Becky, another trick to help keep the birds away from the tomatoes... Tie empty plastic shopping bags to the trellis. It looks terrible but the bags blow around in the breeze and scare the birds away! Cheap and easy fix! Also, I love your style!! You are such an inspiration!!! Thanks for all of your hard work!

I heard many a whisper about Temu and I was in a panic too because I have also ordered from them. What I discovered is, if you want to order from them always order from their website. Don’t use their app. And so far, I haven’t had any issues.🤞 I can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeves for Halloween. I’m getting excited for the season!!

I love your decorating ideas. My hubby and I moved from the dream home we built into a home built in 1964 (downsize for retirement). Only one previous owner and there are MANY original aspects are still here. Including the stove from 1964 that still works!!! I’ve been obsessed with the cute breakfast tray you have on your table. Finally found a set of 4 at an antique shop in a booth that was 60% off! I painted two of them and put on a rub on transfer ❤❤❤ Keep posting the awesome videos!

I was at the Salvation Army the other day, and they had 3 sets of dishes just Iike the ones you have..they immediately reminded me of you. 1.00 a piece. I'm really surprised they were that inexpensive . 3 different patterns, all in the colors you have. I just had to share that with you.😊 Love your channel. ❤

Buy you one of those guns for Christmas light testing . It will make lights work amazingly you just would not believe if you don’t have one get one they save your strands of lights. I love the ones that you found with the different settings on it. Those were my favorite when I can find them. I can’t find them anymore so hopefully you can get those to work. Hi Becky, the porch turned out adorable, I am sure neighbors, friends and family will enjoy its cheerfulness! 🐝🐝 Oh, to have summertime rain, I can only "dream". This area goes about 6 months without any. Whenever I have traveled in the south in the summer, I'm always a bit surprised. On one trip to Savannah, I ended up buying 3 umbrellas☂☂☂LOL..

How about apple cider pork chops for something different? 27 gr protein low glycemic level and 4 carbs.. For each pork chop 2 tb apple cider vinegar 11/2 tsp Dijon mustard 11/2 tsp plove oil 1 tsp of thyme leaves salt and pepper. This is the marinade per pork chop coat and marinade 15 mins brown in skillet let rest 5 mins before eating. Split tomatoes is a sign of too much water.i at one time raised all my own food and summers of heavy rain always caused this. I can't wait for Halloween either!! Excited to see what David builds!

Oh gee..the darn birds. Guess you could try netting. I have the little cherry/pear ones in a front garden and have a ton. Close to where we walk. Have some in pots too, the bigger one, not doing as good. The ones in pine needle dirt (had evergreen cut down) love it.

Enjoyed watching your video. Living in California we don’t get the rain like the southern states and it was amazing seeing how fast it comes and goes. Just a thought for your leaf trees you can turn a tomato cage upside down and tie the points together then wrap the leaves around it . There are several people on KZbin with videos.

You had a fun few days there for sure and you got some really neat items at the thrift stores. I was thinking that maybe the little snowmen that were on the string of lights that didn't work, you could try putting them on one of your other string of lights that do work. You sure got some much-needed rain there, I hope that your little pumpkin patch is ok. I am wondering if maybe your tomato plants are getting too much water? We have a patio tomato plant in a pot, and I usually wait until the surface of the soil is dry to the touch to water them which is approximately every other day. I'm not positive though if that is what is happening with yours. Love your bird bath, it is gorgeous! Your sister did an incredible job on the wreath and the porch turned out amazing! Go to the Goodwill and get a lamp and a big bowl. Take the harp and where the light bulb goes and cut off the cord. Glue the bowl to the lamp base and you have a bird bath

Tomatoes split from overwatering. Also if the plant gets really dry and then you drench it, it will cause the tomatoes to split.

I am thinking you are a nurse. EAT YOUR VEGGIES GIRL. I can’t have red meat or any of their byproducts. I only eat meats with fins feathers or scales and I eat tons of low carb vegetables.
