@@dianachamomile I would not take them out, honestly... it gives it structure, makes the garment more high quality and stable and it looks very pretty on you! If you end up finding it uncomfy, you can still take them out later on, but it would be more difficult to put them back in if you regret the decision.

Hi Diana! I've been watching your videos for a while. I'm glad to see you are finding joy in thrifting and making blog videos. It always feels like I'm in a conversation with a friend who'd be down to get coffee and thrift, which does sound like a perfect outing. For the suede, I'd do the theater trick of cheap Vodka and water in a spray bottle to kill any stink. At least until you can make it to the dry cleaners.

as someone who's been thrifting for my whole life, i finally for the first time last year bought a stunning jacket that had a heavy smell 😭 somehow i've always lucked out when purchasing my previous leather/wool jackets?? i didn't realize it had a smell until after i left the store, it's a heavy smoker's smell so :') i'm finally gonna take it to the dry cleaner soon, see what they can do, haven't worn it once but im determined! sometimes it's worth it for an amazing jacket :')

Hey, before taking the suede to a dry cleaner, try baking soda. Sprinkle the powder all over and put the jacket in a plastic bag for like 24 hours. After that, shake it thoroughly and give it the sniff test. The process can be repeated if you still smell something. Baking soda soaks up odors and impurities.
