Some very nice EARLY Otis Series 2 Elevators that serve the parking deck of the Wells Fargo Center. The building was built in 1983, so this garage was either added on later, or these elevators were modernized shortly after the building was built. I'm going to assume the garage was added on later, but I don't know for sure.
What these are however, is pretty cool. I only got a quick ride as I didn't want the cameras and security guards outside the elevators to see me, but these are VERY EARLY Otis Series 2 elevators with the STICKY Buttons, the EARLIEST Variant of the Otis Micromotion buttons EVER, made from 1989-Early 2000s (although most commonly used from 1989-1996)! Unfortunately, these buttons are quite rare, and many existing installs have had these buttons replaced with the Newer and Very Common Non Clicky Otis Micromotion buttons Otis still uses today, but I'm glad to see places such as this one have kept them intact, and hopefully it stays that way!
The COP is a bit vandalized, but when you see and push these buttons, you honestly don't care about that whatsoever. These are SO MUCH more fun to press than the buttons Otis used today! And with that said, I really hope these don't get modded and are here to stay, at least for a few more years.
With that being said, enjoy the video of some VERY EARLY Otis Series 2 Elevators!
Installed/Modernized most likely in the Early to Mid 1990s.
