They might if they have some late births who came in for rescue, but odds are she might have to wait until the fox breeding season next year.

Debs said that she might not be able to foster next year, as she’s gotten so attached to Simon and Magoo. Unlike fostering a dog, or a cat, you can’t keep a wild animal if you fall in love.

They need to start to become unused to humans and start learning how to survive in the wild. They will almost certainly be soft-released, which is where they are let lose but still provided with food and water for a while until they get used to surviving on their own.

The fox i feed that lives in the bottom of the garden comes up around 4pm at the moment. So early. She has one cute little cub that was sunbathing at 10am this morning rolling around in the grass chasing anything that moved. Even stalking the magpie that steals the fox food like a tiger!

They are wild animals and belong in the wild. They are important for the ecosystem, and keeping them as pets is not for their best interest. They are NOT pets. Fox are wild animals, not domesticated house pets.

@@cuddlecows I know that. But maybe it's not the case. Coz they are being fed by Debs since they were born. So these baby foxes are so dependent of her. I don't know if they can handle by themselves in the wild. Some countries such as US and Russia allow people to have them as pets in cases like this one or when a rescued fox is severely wounded and unable to go back to the wild...

@@felipejunqueira4022, As long as they are healthy, they will go in with older wild foxes to learn how to be wild. They’ll be released when they’re about 6 months old. It’s not good for them to stay in a house. The only way that can happen is if a fox needs permanent care for a medical condition. They don’t house train like dogs do. Imagine Pip & Jimmy screeching at the kits, and maybe hurting them. They need to be released elsewhere.
