Hi Abi, you've got such a lovely approach. I've just bought my first over locker and was scared to use it. You make everything look easy which is very encouraging to us beginners. Your presentation and instructions are excellent. It's obvious you put a lot of care and thought into your videos. I've got my measurements for pants and machine cover done and ready to go. Please keep doing your videos. Thank you so much, Catriona

Your presentation is spot on and allows a beginner like me to keep up. These trousers look a fab startler project and I look forward to making them especially going to try out that blind hemming technique it gives such a lovely finish with little effort - defo a winner in my book. I will be looking out for more of your videos. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing your techniques😁

I made them according to your formula using my hip measurement of 48" but they were enormous. Luckily there was lots of room to take them in so I cut off the seams and recut them using your 40" hip formula and they are perfect. Such a quick and easy sew. I've already another pair on the cutting table. I'm sure the problem was because of the very stretchy fabric I used.

Hey Abi, thanks so much for this tutorial. What would really help me is to have a diagram of the trousers illustrated on your notepad, with the measurements and CL for instance labels written on as we progress. I struggle to transpose what I am seeing on the fabric, as it's inside out and not resembling trousers! into what section of the actual garment I am looking at and how that translates to my own body! or even a miniature sample version of the trousers, which you turn inside and out orientating the stages. Sorry if this seems to make your demo's slightly longer and more detailed, but am I really the only beginner who struggles with this orientation of the cut out on the table, or pattern and the finished item?!!
