Awsome video my friend im in the process of designing my own frame as well and just gonna send it out to get cut out of carbon fiber, but i love how u made this and look forward to your next creations, subbed 😎

I use duramic 3D PLA+ for my 3D printed drones. It's the toughest PLA I've found and has taken some big hits without catastrophic failure. One other thing you can do is anneal the PLA by leaving it on your bed after the print finishes and then gradually raise the bed temp up to 90C by 10C every 15 minutes. And then back down to 50C with the same curve. The PLA can then handle quite a bit more heat before warping.

I'll have to try that out!

Nice informative video. Thanks for the STL files which I am going to print out when the PLA+ filament arrives. Have you any photos of the hardware layout and any Betaflight presets used? What make of FC stack did you use?
@scenicviewdrones759Ай бұрын
I do. I don't have any pictures currently but I'll make a quick build video on it next week.

carbon fibre frames are cheap enough and solid no vibrations and wont break your expensive parts that are quickly going out of stock every day...

You bet. I actually have not found vibration issues with plastic frames. Maybe because of there wieght? Pid tuning as been rather simple with these systems in my apinion. As for why I printed a frame instead of buying a carbon fiber was because I could not find a frame that worked well with my hardware needs that stayed under 250grams... that and I love creating, building and learning.

@@scenicviewdrones759 should take those $20 Walmart toy rc helicopters and put those motors on watch it fly lol

The property is beautiful man. I didn't catch what filament you printed this with?
@scenicviewdrones759Ай бұрын
Thank you. This one is just PLA+. The brand of filament was "Eryone"... the frame currently printing is made from PA6-CF! Hopefully it can handle the heat better.

Wouldn't you want your antennas on your goggles up and down not side to side i have goggles x and am thinking about using those antennas

I had them vertical at first then switched them just recently for ease of packing around. To be honest I haven't noticed a difference. But I also haven't flown long distance or tested it yet... maybe I should🤔
