As a piano teacher from Estonia I'm very impressed about this. Karolina has achieved in 5 or 6 months what an ordinary pupil may achieve in three years. But Karolina isn't your ordinary pupil, she is musically super talented young lady! Even starting very late I see clearly that end result of her piano studies will be much-much more than ordinary skill even if it will be just an auxiliary instrument. I'm amazed how easily she can switch her left hand from four fingers playing on violin to five fingers on piano. I'm also so impressed with nimbleness of fingers of both hands - not just "violin hand" - and the absolute freedom of movements like an already experienced pianist - executing staccato movements for example, raising her fingers from keys with such ease. Also putting so much musical feeling already into these pieces. Everything is so beautiful about her - even the bowing to the public! Subscribed to your new piano channel and will follow for your new progress there. You can also use the pedal so skillfully and find it easily although you move your foot away when not using it. @@Diana2Chi She obviously memorized these pieces from sheet music. And, actually, all talented musicians play solo from memory using sheet music only in ensemble playing and very rarely as an insurance playing freshly learned works and even then they play mostly from memory. This may be hard to believe - but somehow playing from memory is easier than using sheet music, at least in solo performances. It lets you to concentrate to playing process and music, not just paper sheets before you. This is not to say that her memory capacity isn't simply awesome - there are incredible amounts of music in her memory - like a blessed super talent should have. For example - she composes and learns her innumerable pop covers only by ear and quite improvisationally, but uses sheet music to memorize hard and complicated classical works. Classics must be played exactly as written. Street music is quite easy for her talent taken into account her professional level with classical technique. In street performances she uses maybe a tenth of her real technical capacity. That's why she can dance and feel absolutely free most of the time not always even looking at strings. Classical music performance needs standing still and having absolute concentration on playing, watching the fingerwork on the strings. Merry Christmas from Estonia!

Brings back so many memories with my First Piano recital at age 12, it was held in the Sydney (Australua) Town Hall & I played Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1. Made all the same moves of sitting down, making adjustments to the stool, I was tall for my age & then sudden terror that I would forget how to play. Got through it & extremely pleased as was my teacher. Unfortunately its be around 45 years since I tickled the ivories, be interesting to see if I can remember anything @ now 67 years. I still have 3 boxes of my classical sheet music & teaching books. Now I am retired might try again to fill in my days.

Congratulations on the progress you have made, Karolina. I expect you know that most colleges/universities/ conservatoires effectively require their students to have piano as a second instrument because they have a course called keyboard skills/harmony or something of the kind; it may well be that was what prompted you to begin piano. Anyway, keep it up and give yourself the best options for your higher education in music (if that is what you choose when the time comes).
