Zack Telander your videos have inspired me to clean and jerk and snatch. They have also taught me how to correctly do them with your really good tutorial videos. I have felt stronger in the swimming pool and faster in especially the butterfly stroke where there’s a lot of explosive strength required to pull your body through the water. I greatly appreciate the quality content and keep up the good work!

For the regular ohp, a mix between those. Elbows slightly in front of the bar, but not completly under and not as far out as in a jerk. Flex the lats hard and rest your triceps against your lats.

Regarding Zack's comments at 9:18, do the shoulders go back more at the top of triple extension in the Snatch than in the Clean?
@pouihurmen
@pouihurmen 3 жыл бұрын
Don’t know about more to the back but they definitely go higher due to the difference in grip width and required pull height

My coach was telling me if I can feel the moment the weight goes weightless and stuff, literally to release my grip so can move fast and get under the bar. Still being kind of grip dominant but that cue has helped me

I feel like for me, I clear the knee and an so focused on speed and explosion that my timing is off, the bar sneaks away from being close, and I lose touch/tension with the bar as I get under instead of finishing extension and actively pulling under. It's getting better tho. Thanks, Zack
