Very Low Racer by Mike Burrows at Time Trials 106

The Olympic park road circuit in east London is one of my favourite
race tracks in the UK.and every year from May-July there is a ten mile time trial,and all bikes are welcome.Neil hood decided to race his new to him Mike Burrows VLR (very low racer) and i brought Questie along,it was Neil's first look at the track so he took it easy for the first couple of laps on his timed run.Questie is'nt really suited to the tight hairpin on this track so i lost quite a bit of time there every lap.The Waw was ace around here, and three minutes faster over ten miles.

Did anyone actually say you were giving vellomobiles a bad name? If so, I find that utter crazy. You're one of the main advocates for them here in the South East of England. One of the best KZbin channels on the subject anywhere. Please keep going. I must have missed this at the time.

Would be great to get a closer look at it, the lines and shaping around the front end look very tidy and slick. Would be awesome to get one of these tested with Aerocoach to see what the cda is.

Yep I get ya pushy, when I watched it back I thought I didn't get any close ups but then remembered there's still part two and possibly three so plenty of time and still a few more time trials to go. Just hoping that the Alpha 7 turns up before they finish.

Well Mike is a bit of a rebel and doesn't follow norms, I'm sure he would tell the Queen where to stick her sword, most probably why he hasn't been invited to Buckingham Palace yet 😁

@@velo-ads4206 I don't know him personally. He looks like a sir! Or maybe more like an eccentric Earl? And it isn't about the Queen. It is about how important you have been to the country. Without Mike Burrows there probably would not have been a Wiggens or Chris Hoy.

@@driewiel yes got confused with a knighthood, I know Mike personally and consider him a good friend, and I'm pretty sure he really would not care less about being a sir:) I'm planning on going to see him up at his place in the not too distant future. I will ask him if he would like to be an Earl :)
