I love watching your videos because I kinda do Disney like you do. I haven’t been to a Sail Away party in years. I don’t do pirate night. I love Disney. But you won’t see me wearing a lot of Disney merchandise. To me, it’s the Service, the experience and the overall sense of happiness on a Disney Cruise. Disney World and a Disney Cruise are two places I feel like as a woman you can travel solo and feel very comfortable. 👍🏻🚢

Love that you celebrated in your vlog today, and I celebrated alongside you. I'm 27 years old and have never been able to swallow pills. It's been so anxiety provoking for me. Ironically enough last week I got diagnosed with an anxiety disorder amongst other things, and I started my medication journey today. and I successfully swallowed my first dose of my SSRI! We are cruising on the Magic in May to celebrate my son’s HS graduation and it will probably be our only trip next year. I’m nervous about the economy in the next few years and need to build my savings back up after I finish paying off some necessary debt. I’ll reevaluate if he earns himself some decent college scholarships. The last thing I want for him is to leave college with loans that are impossible to pay off. I’m glad to have creators like yourself sharing your adventures so we can travel vicariously with you.

We’ve sailed 3 times on Disney and have only done the sail away party once. Our last cruise we had a huge extended balcony on the back of the ship and had our own private party away from the crowds and the way too loud volume of the music. Plus we got to take in the scenery and watch dolphins swim in the port.

We just got off the Fantasy and we skipped Cabanas for the first time ever on Embarkation day and did lunch at Animators Palate and now this will be the plan for all cruises go forward. It was such a nice, calm way to kick off the cruise when embarkation day is already so hectic! And mind is totally blown with how different Europa on the Fantasy is so different from the District. Loving the content and the safe space you create for others! ❤❤

@@JoyfulLivingwithJenLefforge, I’m sure we will. However, I’m just kind of regretting that I chose the Wish for our first cruise. I don’t know that I’m super excited about a couple things about it. One thing specifically that I’m not really excited about is the Marvel themed dining. Another thing I regret it that doesn’t have Animators Palate. But out of or while group, I’m the only one that regularly watches videos about DCL. So I think I’m the only one that might be disappointed. Though I don’t think anyone in my group will be very excited about Marvel. Please reassure me (or not) that even with the dining, it’ll be a great time. We LOVE Disney and love cruising.

Oh you will LOVE the Wish. Honestly. True the Marvel restaurant is horrid but your servers will make it lovely and the food is good. And the Frozen restaurant is SUBLIME as is 1923. IT WILL BE MAGIC!

Hey Jen! This is very niche, but what’s the water and coffee accessibility on the ship? No coffee makers in the room, right? But is there “good” coffee that’s not an up charge? And is there a way to make sure you have enough water? Especially at night if things are closed?

Believe it or not, the water that comes directly from the tap in your cabin is triple filtered sea water and totally potable and great tasting. I have my cabin attendant bring me ice and just drink that! As far as good coffee I would say the included coffee on board is NOT so great. I generally get coffee from one of the specialty coffee shops and yes it's an upcharge but very worth it.

It is great to see your adventure here. I know I will never do a Disney ship as I would spend my whole time trying to avoid kids so it is great to see it from afar. (like kids just don't want to vacation with them) . Your approach to how you travel is enjoyable to watch because you do what I like to do as well which is to know what you like and choose those activities with no FOMO on the things others enjoy but are not for you. ( I heard that called JOMO---joy of missing out ) which I thought a great term for it. I was beside a Disney ship in Nassau once on another line and the movie playing loudly by the pool was so annoying (the character's voices---yikes) spoiled our peace ---noise cancelling headphones come in handy. . It would be nice if they stopped playing those while in port.

It depends on the city. I have had some not great experiences in FLL in particular so choose a car service there.

So what I do is go to the home page and put in the length of cruise you want and which port and then see which one is cheapest and when you click it will usually show you a GTY

My brother and s-i-l boarded the Dream on Monday, 11/18. I brought them to the port - sounds like I may have passed you at terminal as you disembarked. They are also sailing as Cast Members (my brother is retired Disney/ESPN) and were also given a non-connecting Deluxe Family Veranda.

We were also in a GTY but our family got 5A and had the rectangle shower, simple shower head. The room was smaller, there was not space for the chair by the balcony. 4 ft less space Thanks for sharing!

No. Sometimes I think other people are uncomfortable FOR me but that’s a them thing. And those occurrences are very rare - mostly I chat with people who are very jealous of the freedom I have!

Do you think you got special treatment and a really nice cabin because Disney knows you're a vlogger? These videos are great advertisements for them. Another vlogger said that placing a rolled up towel at the bottom of the connecting door & hanging a big towel over it muffles the sound from next door. I've never tried it. Have you? I wonder if it actually works.
