What’s wrong with the translation?
@bedwin0013 күн бұрын
Alkabeer means the one who is greater in status than everything. So many Muslims are using online translation which 99% of the online sources are incorrect. There is no Quran in English and word for word translation leads to blasphemy. Like noor alsamawat means the one who guided angles humans and Jinn and most of translations say Allah is light which is kufur because here they beliken Allah to his creation. To understand the Quran even in Arabic you need to sit down with a trust worthy teacher who has a chain the prophet and can each you. The prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم didn’t know how to read and write and he learned from angel gibreel. you cannot do heart surgery by reading from a book without learning from a doctor.

@@bedwin00 Dear brother, I believe “the Grand” is a reasonable translation. “The Greatest/Greater” is closer to “al-Akbar,” and what you’re saying concerning “al-Kabir” referring to Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala being greater than all things - this is implied by the name “al-Kabir” but not explicitly laid out as such (i.e. it’s only “al-Kabir” not “alladhi huwa akbar min kulli shay’” word for word). Likewise, “the Grand” in this context will initiate a similar impression of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala being greater than all things - it’s implied even if not explicit.

@@qarialminshawi you need to learn the Quran from a trustworthy Muslim who is bilingual and understands Arabic very well and also English he can explain and not do word for word translation. This is my advice to you. Also follow one of the 4 madhabs shaffi/maliki/hanafi/hanbali. Religion is not by opinion. The meaning I gave you is from the 4 schools.
