Very Realistic Chatty Vlog While Working my *9 to 5* job near Nashville, TN / Dealing with Sick Dog

A very realistic and chatty vlog this week as I work through the week, trying to work, balance life, and take care of our sick pet. Our dog, Maddie has been very sick this week, and it was very scary. We take her to the vet and find out what is wrong, and begin giving her meds. I'm trying hard this week to meet all my commitments. A few things are not going as well as one would hope. But I'm putting a smile on my face and getting through it.

I am so with you! 😂 If things falls apart, it throws me off my whole schedule! I’m trying to get over it, not create that stress for myself, but things just need to get done. Sleep issues started when menopause set in, it’s a little better now but there are still nights…

Getting approved. I went from 577 (in 4 years) to 2.5 k people in 36 hrs. lol Applied this weekend for YT Partnership when they sent an email telling me I was eligible. My sisters dog had pancreatitis and they put him on a very low fat food. You can only get it through a prescription from Maddie’s vet. It’s Hills Science Diet id low-fat for digestion. God Bless 🐾

Boy I'm glad that Matty is doing well, I have pets of my own and I have had that stress/ worry over them being ill. Please take care of yourself and stay positive. Thank you for sharing your experiences with preparing for retirement, I plan on retiring in two years myself.

Hi Sonya your channel showed up after I have been searching for retirement videos. So glad because your videos are great! For Miss Maddie, you may want to try the digestive enhancer from Nature’s Farmacy. The breeder told me about this product, and it is wonderful for pets with tummy issues. I gave it to my Sheltie everyday and it really helped him. Humans can take it too! Thanks for the great videos!

I just found your channel. I live in Hendersonville TN and have been going through a lot of the same challenges with feeling overwhelmed with home life, work life, taking care of my elderly parents and wanting to retire from my job of almost 35 years. Well it’s hard to say. Little bit has been around for years the other one a few months and comes and goes. Not sure what local rules are about claiming them but we felt sorry for them and feed them. Probably will be getting the 2nd one fixed unless he’s chipped- something to do in retirement if he sticks around.

The “big prayer” of mine is simply, “May the Lord judge between you and me.”. That's only a last resort type prayer when someone is adamant about trying to hurt me. God is still the same as He was in the old testament but maybe a bit more patient through Christ. People confuse His patience for tolerance though & that's dangerous. I'm praying more for your baby. Thank you for your insight on those things. Yes she’s coming off the Caesar’s and in to Pro Plan. She’s feeling so much better. The big prayer for me means “Lord do whatever it takes” to remove this from me. He does. I just try not to pray that one often because when I do it’s usually something drastic.

This vlog was such a pleasure to listen to as I was driving home from my son's place, driving through beautiful Virginia farm country. I pray Maddie continues to heal and get back on her perky feet. That Hibachi looked amazing - yum! We've had so much rain lately that it's crazy to see everything green instead of crunchy brown like it usually is in August. Hope you're having a better week. We took in my parent’s cat Sam, when my Mom passed, and we had to put him to sleep last Friday. Meds and such were tried but his liver was failing. They believed it was from cancer. He was a little less than 14 1/2 years old. It sure makes your heart heavy. 😢 Glad Maddie is better. Sheila

Glad Maddie is feeling better. Has she always eaten Ceasers dog food . A while back there was a recall on that dog food . Looks like you had a good week. Time is flying and before you know it you will be retired. Just hang on . George is such a good cook . Every thing he makes looks yummy. See you next week.

Since we’ve had her she has eaten that. But soon to be over. We are almost finished with this pack. Yes time is flying! Retirement feels close now that school in session. My next video is coming on Tuesday about my giving notice at work! :-) A mid week video! I’ve been lucky that he loves to cook. But we are both looking forward to me being home too and our eating game will change. I think we will eat earlier and I will make soups and pastas and crockpot meals and breakfasts. I love cooking too. And I’ll film what I do. My videos should be more interesting and helpful to others - I hope! My creative time will no longer be spent at work! Can’t wait!
