Perhaps just give Halle bits of what you eat, either baby led or puréed/mashed, eat at the same time so you’re modelling it to her x

Always love the honesty of your videos Shan! I remember watching your weaning videos with George and panicking that my little girl was never going to eat as weaning with her was such a struggle! Even remember ringing my mum one day crying saying "she's going to be on bottles for the rest of her life" 😂 It was definitely a stressful journey! But she's such a good little eater now... Halle will get there! Its so true that every baby is different! ❤❤ xx

My little boy just turned 9 months and will still only eat purées, his gag reflex is so strong that he gags on anything solid and usually ends up being sick 😫 my first was an amazing eater, by 9 months he was eating full dinners with us! Just trying to remind myself that they’re all different, like my friend said, we don’t have any friends who have to purée their foods now because they never took to weaning 😂 they get there eventually xx

Love this vlog! What about if you gave Hallie a soon and then spoon fed her yourself? I think the same happened with my little girl when we were weaning so I gave her a spoon to play with 😂 also stopped food being thrown on me or floor haha xx

I loved watching a realistic day with ur 2 children. I have 1 child and at dinner time im always feeding my 3 year old and let her watch hey dugee on the phone in order for her too eat. Every child is different!! Also I love it when the children go bed coz then us Mums can chill out properly (that is Including making lunch fr the next day lol mum life). Take care ❤

Thanks for sharing! I just read on a dietician page about using short handled spoon. Easier for them navigating & also avoiding gagging on it 😊 my son is closer to george's age but fuuuussssyyy! 🤦‍♀️

I enjoyed this so much! You also inspired me to go back and watch your last one from 2022 and omg it was like watching my own life with my current almost 2 year old 😂 tell me it gets easier?! The constant barrage of snacks and demands for who the hell knows what! Love your approach to weaning with Halle, she’s a little star. So frustrating those babies and their feeding habits. Haha! Our girl is on bottle strike last two weeks. Her first two teeth are all the way through so I don't think it's them, but she will barely suck! She will cry for milk and give a few sucks and then just chews on the teat and refuses! We've been squeezing in the bottle to try get more in, but just doesn't work well! She does eat some solids (blw), but only a little amount (and absolutely hates purees or spoon feeding!) We even bought a different bottle to try but it won't work! But she seems all happy and content though! Babies... ! 😩 Who understands them! 😂 And we keep comparing her to our son who was drinking twice the amount recommended and eating three full on meals a day by this age! 😂 Frustrating and confusing! But we will get there! 😁
