I actually walked up to and touched this waterfall. It was no longer tourist season, and I was the only person. So I climbed over the moss covered rail, and nearly face planted myself bc I was wearing converse shoes, but I cannot put into words my experience. I could have sat there for hours but I got soaked wet just from the mist created by the water hitting the pool; it lays across the whole area like a soft, fine blanket. I will never forget, nor do I think anything can replace the peace and tranquillity of such moment. And no I didn’t damage or contaminate anything, and no one should ever do what I did but needless to say, it’s unimaginable and breath taking.

I discovered this video because I had foot surgery and was bedridden for a fortnight. I was used to the sound of air conditioning or fans (which I used to turn on even in winter lmao) but since that discovery, I have literally fallen in love with the sound of the Sahalie Falls! I've been listening to it every night for three years now, to fall asleep, but also to study, to read, to do sports or to take a shower ! So thank you for this wonderful experience!

I'm grateful to have belatedly discovered that the perfect treatment of symptoms of my tinnitus (chronic ringing of the ears) is waterfalls audio recordings like this one. There's no medical cure yet for tinnitus but white noise is known to mask ear-ringing for many sufferers so that one becomes blissfully unaware of the ringing, temporarily. White noise audio created using audio software also works, but the natural white noise of waterfalls and rushing streams works just as well and is more pleasant to hear. Plus the water has added relaxation & mood-improving effects. So, thank you for the upload.
