She Died Alone in the House This is an extremely sad abandoned house that I explored where an elderly woman died alone and a body stain has been left where she fell. The home has been badly tossed and ransacked, also with the power being cut the mold, black mold and peeling paint has accelerated and the home is in very bad shape. The basement was easily my favourite part of the house where this could seemed to love to entertain guests at their bar and showcase their hunting and fishing trophies. Viewed discretion is advised, if the sight of a body stain will upset you, please be warned. If you have any elderly friends or family who live alone, please do check on them frequently. This home had to be left prior to 2018. Everything is super retro..the soup cans don’t have that label not that I have seen. Plus the amount of decay..mold ect. I bet someone put the calendar on that year. Then again my grandmas house was groovy- lava lamps and all 60’s still. it was so cool. Too bad all this awesome stuff has been uncared for. Its a whole industry, i see too many elderly who are capable end up in nursing homes becuase people cannot accommodate them in their lives anymore, more so in the west then in asian countries where they often have in home carers to help out, nursing homes should be the absolute last resort, and if they are put there, visit them often.

I live alone and I am 60, the family don’t like me and they abuse me so I had to cut them off. The only person who enters my tiny flat is the realestate agent every six months. My husband died 10 years ago and my daughter and I clash and she is abusive toward me as well. I remember being very anxious and depressed one Saturday and I rang her in desperation and told her I was in a bad way,,she had her answering service on I left a message begging her to please reply in a text or phone call but I got nothing, I did pull out of the depression, I just had to get through the day on my own with no company, no support, no one. I have no friends, only God if it wasn’t for my faith I would have ended my tragic life years ago. I hold on to God he always gets me through, however you are right it should be this way. Humans refuse to respect, help and love each other. What a great world it would be if we all had compassion and love. I have been thinking lately that I need to have a plan, I look forward to leaving this world yet my greatest fear is dying in my flat and being discovered 6 months later swimming in my decomposing fly blown body. I don’t care about me , I don’t care if they leave me for a thousand years , it’s the poor realestate lady and the police finding my remains like that, it may damage them for life. Also I need to be respectful of the owner of the flat. I wouldn’t want to damage her floors or bed if I died there. So my wish is to phone an ambulance in time and prop the flat door open immediately, or die in hospital where I will be treated in hospital with care and dignity before I pass away. It will be a government payed cremation because there is no family to organise one. So I have been thinking Dianne you need to plan and keep your phone charged at all times now maybe have a little bag packed for hospital and always have my cards and papers ready for ID. Actually this video is a wake up call not to be to complacent.

I think sometimes when people say that houses must have had hoarders that lived there are wrong. While they might seem to have a lot of things, just my opinion, but I believe their things are in their place and then you get some nasty disrespectful punks that come in and throw things every where. They are just looking for valuable items or are there to just destroy things. They don't care that this was someones life, someones possessions, someones home. Sad, just so sad.

But, in the last year of her life, her health deteriorated beyond what I was capable of controlling. So, we had no choice except to put her in a nursing facility for Alzheimers patients. We briefly considered moving into her house, as it was once a very nice house. But, it was so bad, we decided it was beyond what we could handle. We have people right now trying to clear it out so that we can clean it out. It will probably end up going to my husband's 2 sons.

I had a sort of similiar experience in a house exploration...old woman had died no body stain but smell still there....but on main floor the only "furniture" was tied bundles of flyers - like when a flyer delivery guy quits the job and dumps his bundles of flyers in a dumpster like that - that had been used for 15 years so were all yelloweds...then in one bedroom was just a floor to ceiling stack of Chef Boy R Dee Mini Ravioli covered in dust,,,next room was a stack floor to near ceilling stack of dust covered Campbells Chunky New England Clam Chowder,,,,the basement was freaky in that all the cement walls were lined floor to 3/4 up to ceiling with rows and rows of empty but well used animal cages...I think maybe she had had rabbits in them? I did some research and found it was a 77 yr old female who died in there who apparently none ofthe neighbors who had lived beside her for years had even talked to her once. Had no friends no family no one. Then i saw a Public Notice asking for anyone to come forth if they had a claim on her estate. House was in decent area but right beside a fairway on a golf course and the golf course was expanding and wanted to buy houses nearby to do that so the house was worth 3/4 million....but with no will and no one making a claim the title of the house went to the Province (this is canada) and the government made the $$ from house sale. At one point i had thought of sneaking a will into the house and having myself given like 30% with a story as to why i knew her but that plan never got any further than just talk. Strange how people are born live and die and are forgotten about a minute later after death. Its like they never existed. And who among us will be remembered 50 or 100 yrs after we die? Prob not many of us not me.99.99% of those who have ever lived on this planet in History have been forgotten their names gone. Depressing but it can be liberating to not be shackled by others demands on what one should do with ones life. Dont be imprisoned by trying to meet others expectations .Those demanding those things of you will too as well be dust in the wind and forgotten. So live your life doing what you want to do,,,treat people like you would like to be treated...help those needing help as best as you can....be good to animals....find someone you love and who loves you and just hold on and enjoy your time...and never judge those less fortunate than you who had no one when they died...and became a bodystain...because one way or another...we all become body stains on the Fabric of Eternal Time...united in death....eventually all forgotten in death.

Not the local lending library where you need a library card. 😉 They don't want the books from ones own shelves at home! 😮 I plan on having my desk, a bed and my bookshelves, a dresser and table and chairs left and nothing else. Easier to deal with. Plus certain household goods left too, that way I won't (or rather my possessions) won't be a burden to deal with. Everything else is being sold, donated or given to friends before I pass.

Very somber video. The pitiful aspect is that these things are the very last vestiges of a life lived and the story of the loved ones involved. It was obviously a couple that once filled the house with love, light and laughter. To know that there have been others before you that did not share the reverence you showed and destroyed the contents is disheartening. True urbex has unspoken rules. The FIRST being do not destroy the memories of those no longer among the living. I equate the destruction of someone's belongings to a form of grave robbing. Excellent video sir. Thank you for the provocation of thought and reflection. They have gone where we all must one day go. May they rest in peace.

Looks like a hoarding situation somewhat......it is so sad to know that someone passed away and that no one missed them 😢. A man passed in my apartment building and no one knew that he had died until the smell was overbearing and the resident manager (who was assisting the City Housing Inspector during a routine check of the place) and opened the door - I have never seen anyone move as fast as that CHI inspector did running for the door. Come to find out, he had relatives living in another complex about 5 miles away. It broke my heart. No one should have to die alone.

So sad, we can be any age and have something happen to us and when we're alone there's not a whole lot we can't do especially if we have fallen and can't get up. I fell in my barn taking care of my horses and broke my back. Couldn't get a hold of my daughters or neighbors. I laid there for over 30 minutes, I finally got myself to the house by myself. It showed me life is valuable and short and to enjoy every moment for that day I have. Material stuff means nothing. And I am still young! My back did heal, I had to wear a brace for a while and I am good now. I exercise and lift weights. As always an excellent video! Thank you!
