I'm deeply sorry for your loss. The same happened to me with my dog. She went through a tough process that we believed she would overcome, but in the end, she couldn't make it. She fought until the very end. To this day, we still feel sad about it, but the pain and sorrow will pass. If you took her to the vet, gave her a loving home, and filled her life with love, rest assured that she, wherever she is, will be very grateful to you for all your unconditional love. Olivia was such as sassy superstar. I’m going to miss her so much. Hold ham close because he is going to feel it too. I feel like when people and pets pass we always carry a part of them in our soul and they help build who we are. So true! 👍 I had very sad experiences with my late dog and cat too in my past. For the loss of each of them, I cried for nights. It's nothing greatly different from losing one's child. It takes time to heal. It's really painful and sad. But years later, somehow beautiful memories of them and with them will stay or come back. I think that is important. We are all travellers in this world. We should cherish beautiful and happy memories that we could have. That includes ones with a very special, sweet fur baby. 🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖😇

I feel your pain i had to let go of my pet birds (Cockatiels) that I had for a month and they were so sweet and never bit hard. I had to return them to the breeder because they had a untreatable disease and they were my best friends. We will miss you olivia and I wll miss by birds Charlie and Frankie

I have also gone through a similar experience of having to put my Labrafor Retriever down years ago. It is like losing apart of yourself.
