Can I say, I loveeee how Alaska is always here for the ridiculousness and silliness of life. I feel like her commitment to the bit is what makes me love her so much 😂 and Delta is always there for it too and instigates and asks such unserious yet serious questions and I just ugh I love you two. I think when the weight of the other ingredients combined--tomato, onion, meat of choice, etc--exceeds the weight of the cheese in a grilled cheese--it then becomes a sandwich. Because at that point it's more other stuff than cheese.

Chicken noodle and maybe vegetable should be daily soups. While others are daily rotations. So in all, there should be 5 soups (one for each day) while chicken and vegetable are daily additions and Saturday/sunday only. With seasonals replacing the chicken or vegetable. I love a thick soup. Creamy, thick, and packed with spices and flavor. A thin soup should be only served but packed with beans, pasta, or veggies.

I personally would have done a peanut butter swirl cheesecake with a strawberry sauce, as in my opinion, peanut butter and crushed peanuts are a different flavor. I also dont think i'd be a fan of the texture of the crushed peanuts plus the smooth 'n creamy cheesecake and the crumbly & delicate crust. Peanuts are too hard a crunch and would stick around longer in the mouth than the rest of the ingredients, leading to an imbalanced mouthfeel.

I just moved to Oregon and there's this restaurant called Elephant's Delicatessen and they have what they call the Elephant's Cure soup. It's chicken (no noodle) soup with carrots, yellow onion, celery, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, thyme, cilantro, parsley, and the ingredient that makes it so good and sets it apart- serrano chiles. It gives it such a nice extra warmth and flavor depth. I swear by it when I'm sick. The best part? The restaurant has posted the exact recipe online. Got here at the beginning of August and have had it probably 10 times already. So yum
