I picked the best night of a bad bunch and it was still pretty awful conditions. Very strong winds hammer the tent all night making it uncomfortable especially because I couldn’t make a cup of tea.

That was tough to watch. I can only remember one night when it was even half that windy and there was no way I was going to sleep. I got dressed, went out, and tighed everything down extra. I finally got some sleep. NOthing like having a loving pet.

I'm #782 to "LIke" this video 3:23; I'd be wearing a Gore-Tex lined outer shell, to keep that wind from getting through to lil ole MEeee. Thankfully, all the guylines & pegs stayed put, no zipper issues, & no water flowing around & past the tent bathtub floor. It's really nice to see you & Blue together on an adventure. Oh Al, what a blow aye! This video is a great eye opener to the struggles of camping in very windy conditions, the noise in a tent is as you said, “Relentless”. To endure that, hours on end and still be positive and creative is a testament to your character and experience….you just don’t and won’t give up. Today in Northern California we had a massive windstorm, gusting at early 40 mph. The noise was ferocious and I’ve only heard a sound like that one other time. In Southern California during the 1994 Northridge earthquake. Like a jumbo jet roaring outside your window.
