By following a creek bed on Google Maps, I Discovered a target that is near the waters edge and next to a parking lot. I don't know what it could be, other than it's square in shape and maybe made out of concrete.
Little did I know that this target would lead me to an even BIGGER Discovery of something that is located just a few hundred feet away. To see what I found, just come along with me!

Could that be fore help with flood water? It is near the Ditch\creek. Use a drone in these situations .

That culvert system probably is there to keep the little creek from being choked out by the sediment.

Its a drain pipe from the parking lot and runoff from the building that is above the parking lot you had to walk down to. It's so when it rains. The rain water would washout the little canal. Because the pitch and amount of flow has changed because of the surrounding commercial buildings and parking lots.

What I liked about the creek was that it appears that its not vsited by many. You could easily camp out there. So peaceful. And then the good time ruined because I would have to clean it up, hopefully with help of some friends. I couldn't just walk by it.

Very cool exploration, JP. The waterfall was beautiful; yes, go back next summer and stand or sit under it! The water is very clear and that larger fish had a look on his face like he’s got some wisdom. Scenery is incredible this time of year. I’m wondering if you ran into some wild roses; extremely thorny. Thank you for taking us along; much appreciated ……🌝

Awesome Google maps adventure JP! I'm pretty sure the 1st location is for the parking lot runoff drainage. The bonus find is absolutely gorgeous! The old dam and that rock bottom creek is awesome! Beautiful underwater view of the fish! Thanks for bringing us along and sharing the beauty and adventure with us!👍

That could be true about it being the lot drainage, but it's different from what I've seen before. Glad you enjoyed the underwater view.

What an incredible adventure! You found your target, and for sure accomplished your goal! I think the whole adventure did not disappoint! It was interesting when you put us through the opening, and we could see the culvert pipe. The spillway was an awesome surprise find, the work that went into constructing it is unbelievable and it was fascinating to see the remains of the pumphouse. What a gorgeous place you found! The sound of the water never gets old, and the waterfalls, landscape, scenery, and natural rock formations are so beautiful. The underwater footage is amazing, it was fun to see the fish, some were nice sized, and the water is so clear. You always put in such great effort to bring wonderful videos, I appreciate that so much, love your videos and this one is another fantastic one! Thank you JP! 💙

I'm the same way when it comes to poison ivy or poison oak. I'll be out with someone while walking through woods or overgrown areas and they'll be like that's a bunch of poison ivy and I'll be like "Where". I don't notice it because I don't have to watch out for it. BTW, I love your videos. It's as if we're exploring together; and the fact that you document so many things that will be gone or are already gone is a service to mankind. Thank you for taking us along JP.

The entire exploration was very interesting, however the former reservoir and spillway were truly beautiful. I'll bet it would be amazing to see after a good rain. The rock formations were wonderful. It never ceases to amaze me how God takes something we made and repurposes it into something of such beauty to bring glory to himself. Loved the underwater footage. Would love to see a future snorkeling expedition. Was grateful for the invitation and will be eagerly awaiting the next great adventure. Until then take care, stay safe and God bless. Neat! Fellow Pisces, I am jealous! LOL It appears to me that where the water is flowing "over the top" of the old spillway wall, that it is actually at the same level as the water coming through the stones, but in that area, the capstones appear to be missing.

Those bigger fish you seen the one that was close to your camera those are called I can't really spell it but in short term we call them sucker fish/algae eater they clean the bottom of the lake/streams and so on how in the world did they spawn in there I'll never know there usually in deeper water like a lake or something..that's really puzzleing to me but cool as heck that's why it's so clean down there they been busy cleaning...and cool to see in a place like that..
